I'm really surprised at all the 5 star reviews. Not because of the product quality, which seems stellar, but because they are very thick. There is so much material, which I suppose helps with longevity of the product, that it made it hard for me to grip the weights. My hands fatigued (started hurting) doing dumbbell curls yesterday. I tried to just keep going but eventually had to take them off. It seems I cannot get enough of my hand around the dumbbells so it is causing fatigue.I had a similar pair to these made my Mava for almost a year until they fell apart. They are noticeably thinner than these by Valence which is probably why they fell apart but they did not effect my grip the way these Valence gloves do.Update* I raised the review to 4 stars since the customer service was outstanding. They sent me a smaller size for free. I do however have the same issue as before and have stopped using the gloves. Other people seem to enjoy them so maybe they are just not for me. I went with the Mava gloves of similar design and they accommodate my grip much better as they are slightly thinner.I'm sure everyone is different but take it for what its worth.

Just got the gloves earlier this week and have now used them twice - really pleased with my purchase. I usually buy more established brands, but after going through a few pairs of more expensive ($50+) gloves with wrist wraps after having a couple calluses rip, I gave these a shot and they've been great. They look good, don't make my hands super sweaty, and the customer service/follow up has been really impressive. I got them in less than 3 days as a regular member, which was awesome and super convenient. I have pretty good sized hands and a medium fit perfectly. I've been most happy with the fact that they let my hands breathe during my workouts. They're ideal for all the palm crushing stuff - pullups, kettles, ropes, and Olympics (wrist wrap was especially great here).Highly recommend this for anyone with torn up hands looking for a way to keep increasing their weight without destroying their palms any further. Awesome design, super functional, cool and supportive. 5/5, couldn't ask for much more.

I have very small hands so I ordered a small, but they still feel too loose over the pinky. Doesn't affect their usability, but can begin to feel a little annoying after a long workout session.

Used them at the gym twice so far, and they really help to keep a grip on the bar when I'm doing bench press, which is why I purchased these in the first place, so I'm very happy with them so far. I had 275lbs on the bar today and the gloves worked like a charm through all three sets, no slipping. I like how the wrist straps add a little extra wrist support as well and it helps to reduce the strain on my wrist when doing dumbbell curls and other lifts of the sort. They are a bit smothering and I am eager to get them off after I get done with bench though, I wouldn't recommend keeping them on for a whole two hour workout or anything. If you want to have a pair of gloves on the whole time, I'd probably look to have a different set, these are for heaving lifting!

I usually do not write reviews but... these are GREAT GLOVES!!! I am a Crossfit Coach and I LIVE in the gym. With all of the bar work I do I NEED gloves so I do not have to worry about my hands tearing all of the time. I bought some other gloves similar to these but after about a month they started to fall apart... I decided to give these gloves a go and no only are they comfortable but more importantly they HOLD TOGETHER! If these gloves can handle crossfit all day I am sure they can handle about anything. If you are like me, it can be hard to find quality workout equipment, however, Valence has proven themselves to me. Will keep coming back for whatever I can get from them!

Let me say that I was very excited to get my pair. It's got amazing grip and surprisingly comfortable as well. My hands don't miss my old gloves. Corns even went away and the wrist protection is good.BUT THE DURABILITY SUCKS!!!I bought this in March. I've been training 4 times a week and to my disappointment is falling apart already.If it were just the grip and comfort.... 4 or 5 stars.Durability....No star!

I usually workout 3-5 times a week for a few years now, using a mix of no gloves vs. several different companies gloves. These look good, have a very breathable design (some gloves have made my hands sweat like crazy and trap heat where this design obviously lets a lot of air in) , and they havent had any signs of wearing down yet which is great compared to gloves I've used in the past. The grip itself is surprisingly comfortable , I think whatever material they chose was great for spreading out the weight while making the bar/DBs/etc. feel perfectly snug in my hands.Overall have had no negatives so far with them and will definitely be watching for the next products Valence releases. 10/10

Phenomenal gloves. I never bother writing reviews on an item, I'll just go ahead and inform you that these gloves are extremely durable and long lasting. I go to a planet fitness, where the ground is uncomfortable and use alot of weight machines which is the main reason I bought these gloves. I go to the gym everyday and the grips from the gloves are extremely satisfying. I recommend these gloves over any other glove you've seen on the market. I might just buy a second pair just in case something happens to these. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE CORRECT SIZE THEY ARE TRUE TO FIT!
