SnugglesafeCool Pad for Dogs, 40cm

Got it for my two indoor rabbits. Was £3 as an add on item when I got it which is an absolute steal. Put it in the rabbits cage and i was worried that they would nibble it. They immediately started lying on it. It feels a little cold when i put my hand on it - and even if I keep my hand on it for a while it doesn't heat up to my hand temperature.I have now put it in a pillow case just to make sure they don't randomly eat it when I'm not there - I am fairly sure it would not be good if they ate whatever fluid is inside.Would recommend for rabbits in heatwave.

I bought the small one for my rabbit a few years ago and I still use it every summer. He loves sleeping on it! Yes, it's really small, but the size is mentioned in the description, so I don't know why some people are so surprised by it. And yes, it's thin and not soft, but my rabbit doesn't need another comfy pillow, he needs something to cool him down. I just put the pad on my bed at night because that's where he sleeps, and he is comfortable and cool.The pad warms up after about 20min, but I just swap it with another. When it's really hot, I put it in the fridge for a few minutes and it lasts longer.My rabbit made a hole in it the second year after I bought it, and I sealed it with some of that material you use to seal holes in inflatable kiddy pools. It worked like a charm.My bun loves this pad so much I've just ordered another one, but this time bigger.

Bought this for my dog after she had her ball joint removed in her hip a few months ago. The pad itself is fairly small, and didn't really seem to cool down much at all. It also had a strange smell which seemed to put the dog off sitting on it. Ended up using a bad of frozen peas instead, could have saved myself the time and money of buying this to be honest. Wouldn't really recommend unless your dog can't smell, and willingly sits for hours, which is probably how long it'd take for this to actually cool down.

Great cool pad. It really works and kept my dog cool during this heat wave we had this summer. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the size. I have a standard Pomeranian dog who is classed as a small dog but it wasn't big enough really, not for all of him to lie on. Could have done being half the size again. So unless your dog is really small like say chihuahua size it won't be big enough.

I bought this for my rabbits but I've just found that they have punctured it and all the gel is starting to come out. There is quite clearly a picture of a rabbit advertising this but it's just not safe. Really would recommend just freezing bottles of water and covering them in a towel. So much safer and doesn't cost anything.

Haven't used it yet but looks well made, cool and the sizing in the description is almost accurate (mine came as 30cm x 39cm; not 30cm x 40cm). I didn't realise how heavy these mats weigh. I tote them with me to use when I walk dogs so they can cool off after a run. They remind me of the heavy lead mats x-ray techs use to cover your privates. They look just like the photos and encased in a vinyl that's very east to wipe clean and dog hair doesn't stick to.

Bought for pet to use during heatwave. For past 3 weeks our Pet has totally avoided & ignored it. However, it makes a great tool for cooling hot tired feet when you're sitting down, which is what we are now using it for LOL.

Good while it lasted in the hot summer earlier this year but had to throw away as my rabbit chewed a hole in it. But she loved it while she had it. Maybe good for older pets not as prone to chewing.
