Cheap, good source of protein, good way to start, no taste hardly.
I read all the reviews and went with this. I was specific on my needs. I wanted to just try if so did not want a larger container for 60 bucks or more and if I gave up on it waste so I went with this cheaper, smaller, good amount of protein version. It really worked out perfect. It will also last me a long time. I needed something fast, easy and mobile with a good amount of protein source for the days I donated plasma. No way was I going to mix it in water or milk or soup. Also I rarely cook. I ended up experimenting and decided on kind of making up my own Peanut Butter Ball drops. So easy. I mixed the powder and the Peanut Butter well together in a bowl dropped by the spoonful on a wax paper lined cookie sheet and froze/refrigerated them. I even made some with drizzled melted chocolate chips on top. One can add cinnamon too. I could eat these before my donor days and also bring them to the center and eat them right after on the ride home. Perfection. Almost 40 grams of protein with the Butter and the powder. Eat two and I am all done. Yes, the stuff is kinda Poofy messy like baby powder. lol when I opened the bag a small poof came out, as another reviewer mentioned. However, it was not real messy as I thought it might be and he mentioned. I think the heads up made me be extra careful though. Hahah! Since it was hard to reseal the bag anyway it was an easy decision to restore in another container. I just dumped it in a plastic Tupperware kind of large bowl container with a lid. If you have a mason jar that would work too. Problem solved. l had no issues at all with the taste. Almost nothing. Must be what you mix it with I suppose. It tastes very light maybe what your mouth might slightly taste like after eating a large plate of peas. I even ended up eating the powder by itself dry on bread when I tried at first making A Peanut Butter sandwich with the stuff and I did not mix it or proportion it well due to me running out of PB. It was chalky but still not even did I get any type of bad taste. Of course it is not meant to be eaten like that. Not sure about the person that said it was the worse thing he ever ate. Weird. Maybe it is really gross in water or milk? I plan on mixing it in my yogurt and maybe cereal too for at home additions after donating.

Great for mixing with everything
This stuff is excellent. I use it as an ingredient in homemade meal replacement powder and it adds plenty of protein without a weird taste. Absolutely no taste, which makes it great for adding to things. I'm willing to bet it could be used as a partial flour substitute in baking if you wanted to.

This is My Choice! - for Plant Based Protein Powder
By itself, no! In a fruit smoothie definitely YES! I am allegric to gluten, dairy/whey, and nuts. 26 protein per serving, 20 servings per bag, 130 calories, 0 sugar, 2 grams of fat, blends good, tasteless as long as I add the right amount of liquid, fruit and spinach, no bloating afterwards (so good on my digestion), no allergy issues, each bag comes with a scoop, bag is resealable, the protein powder looks well made - it is not gritty, and the price ($13.49 w/o tax - w/ subscription) This is My Choice!

Good protein, tastes gross
I have a whey allergy, which makes good protein sources annoyingly difficult to come by. Orgain is the vegetarian gold standard but it’s expensive. This pea protein is likely high quality, it seems legitimate, but just tastes pretty darn bad on its own. Texture is pretty unpalatable as well. I will say though that when mixed with something else (chocolate Orgain, PB2), it’s surprisingly unnoticeable. I’ve used it to make those more expensive products stretch farther

Great value great product
This product is great! I don't understand people saying it tastes bad. Most protein powders are way worse. I was however surprised by how thick it is! I won't be using almond or coconut milk to mix as it is not needed! I can even add more water which makes each shake bigger keeping me more full. This product is a win for me. Also, too thick for regular shaker bottle, ends up clumpy just shaken because of how thick it is. I invested in one of those vortex electric blender bottles. Mixes it perfectly.

Fantastic produc.
Mix a scoop into your favorite smoothie and the taste is fine. Great alternative to whey, especially if you're dairy intolerant. I also mix in a little hemp seed protein. The price is also very reasonable compared to other protein mixes. I highly recommend this product.
