For those that are familiar with this type of brush, I found it to be just as effective as the original DuPont brush and you can get two or three of these for the price of one. That said quality can fluctuate so the buyer always must beware but the items I received were essentially identical to the "original" which I have. I have found the end bristles, the ones not on the three way brush to be a bit too pliable and put a zip tie on it and tighten it to the stiffness I want. This is really intended for a deep cleaning so get the back wheel up, put some cardboard behind the chain to keep from splashing on your tire and rim and go to town. Any solvent works in my opinion and you spin the chain and let the brush to most of the work. Depending on how dirty it can take a while to do it right, then dry the chain as much as possible and lubricate with your choice of lube. These last a long time if cared for but having a set of three is handy as it's the kind of thing that can get lost in the garage.

These brushes are all built quite well, with sturdy plastic handles and stiff bristles.My only complaint is, the U-shaped head is just spaced too far apart to really work on a bicycle chain, even a wide 7/8 speed one. You have to either angle it, or turn push it one way or the other, the latter of which is likely to push the chain off the cog/chainring as you're turning it. Still, they do a decent job of knocking excess wax/grime off.These would probably work much better for motorcycle chains, which are physically larger.They're very inexpensive for a three pack, although I don't expect them to wear out very quickly. The three color pack would be good for different stages of cleaning, though.As I said, these are sturdy and would work well for a motorcycle chain, but I'd maybe look for something with the bristles closer together, if you're cleaning the chain on a normal bicycle.

This is a good idea with how the brush head is shaped like a "U" for cleaning the chain as it goes through the brush head itself. It is designed to mainly clean one side of the chain and the inside of the the chain at the same time. To clean the other side of the chain, you have to move the position of the brush head to make contact with the other side. The other end of the brush has a longer bristles that stick and is designed to clean the crankset gears, and between the sprockets themselves. You get three brushes at a good price too.

The media could not be loaded. See my video for details, but this is a good brush for the price but the bristles on the chain cleaner do not come close enough together to make it easy for cleaning a chain. It still works but you’ve got to move around which can cause chain to come off the Current gear if back peddling. The bristles are perfect for getting off stuff and small places. Since it’s really only half functional I have to give it three stars even though it is a great price.

Wonderful for cleaning a chain. Bristles do the trick and the shape works really nicely for thoroughly cleaning a dirty chain. Simple and effective. Great price too.

These brushes are a must have if your bike has a chain. The bristles hug the chain to get all angles an make scrubbing the chain an effortless task. The long bristles help to get into those hard to reach space. I keep one on my bike and one in the shop. Highly recommended!

I like these chain brushes. They are heavy duty. Good for chain cleaning. The handles are sturdy and the bristles are fairly stiff. I like the way they are made being able to clean the chain with one end and the gears with the other. Really glad to have these. Makes chain cleaning much more thorough and easier. Good item.
