Knipex was always seen as the 'big boys' along with CK but having watched a YouTube clip of someone using these, I was rather impressed. A quick look at the usual places like Toolfix Screwstation showed a large price so I thought I'd see what Amazon could do and here we are, a great price for what is a great tool.You've got your cable sheers, strippers, pliers all in one. I have placed everything back in the toolbag and this is now my main tool, so easy to operate, especially if you have the lock function.If you are thinking about treating yourself some decent VDE kit, this is a must for any tool bag - or pocket!

I use this tool on a daily basis as an industrial electrician. The multi function features are great to have built into one tool. Perfect for cropping cables with ease, stripping wires and crimping. I have both the normal version and the locking/spring opening (with tether) version. I personally prefer the normal (and cheaper) version. The locking version has a spring that opens the jaws fully which can become a hinderance.I have used these, when rushed, to cut SWA cables and they DO damage and gouge the croppers, however still work well.

Excellent ergonomics, a perfect example of a multi-tool that really excels at everything it's supposed to.

The opening restrictor is great but two positions to keep it fully closed would be a great feature

Diese vielseitige installationszange ist nach einer Woche aus meinem Werkzeugsortiment nicht mehr wegzudenken. Sie macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck: Optik, Haptik und Gewicht sind einfach klasse!Dieses Multitool ist ideal für Leiterarbeiten (ohne zuviel Werkzeug am Mann) aber natürlich auch darüber hinaus.Ich habe die Version mit Öffnungsblockierer, welcher praktisch, aber fast schon zu leichtgängig ist und der Sicherungsöse am Hebelende, welche ich auf der Leiter unbedingt nutzen sollte, sagt der Terracottaboden. Nochmal Glück gehabt!Die 1,5 + 2,5mm2 Abisolierer sind sehr scharf, gehen ganz leichtgängig und das Wichtigste: Es werden keine Adern oder Litze verletzt. Vorausgesetzt man wählt den richtigen Durchmesser!Ansonsten wählt man lieber die PreciStrip16, welche sich automatisch dem Leiterquerschnitt anpasst.Der Zangenkopf als Kompromiss zwischen Spitz- und Kombizange funktioniert für mich sehr gut und es lassen sich auch recht gut Dosendurchbrüche damit erstellen. Die glatten Zangenbackenspitzen sind ein durchdachtes Detail, um keine Adern zu verletzten. Prima!Der Kabelschneider macht ebenfalls, was er soll. 1,5mm 3-adrig bis 2,5mm 5-adrig schneidet er wie Butter. Mehr hatte ich noch nicht im Repertoire. Ein guter Seitenschneiderersatz.Das Crimptool habe ich auch schon genutzt und auch das funktioniert ohne grossen Kraftaufwand. Sehr angenehm!Allerdings ist in unserem Betrieb diese Art der Crimpung nicht gestattet, das sie den Leiterquerschnitt verändert (grob gesagt). Aber auch dafür hat Knipex andere Zangen im Angebot.Alles in Allem ein gut durchdachtes, qualitatives Multiwerkzeug made in Germany, für den schlanken Werzeugkasten, welches gut in der Hand liegt, zu einem gerechten Preis.

Électricien de métier, je l’utilise depuis une semaine et elle fait une bonne partie du travaille. Un peu longue mais rien de gênant. Le verrouillage automatique du coupe câble est très pratique!!! Je conseille en complément d’autres pinces!!!
