The versatility of this is nice. Be sure to look at the pictures to see if it opens up how your set up needs. For me, I needed them to open wide and for one brace to hold a phone, with the other bracket holding a rectangle LED light. The grips were more than strong enough to hold both items while I held the middle in my hand as I walked.I have also just used this mounted on a tripod, which of course was even more durable.I will say one nice thing beyond just the grip strength is how well the brackets stay exactly how you rotate them. So I can have my phone or light horizontal or vertical, and they will stay in place until I physically spin them around. That rotation is useful if I need to quickly switch to another perspective.

I love how flexible this holder is, especially considering it can dual-wield two phones at the same time. And still find space to fit 2 cold shoes and a 1/4" threading on two sides of the Arca base, in addition to the 1/4" threading at the bottom for standard selfie-stick/tripod attachment. All in lightweight but sturdy aluminum.And would be perfect... if the Arca system wasn't flawed. You see it partially fitting in the second photo, but that's where it's stuck and not fully inserting, thanks to the section of the Arca base jutting back out.Won't be a problem for most people who don't have an Arca system to begin with, because the 1/4" threading at the bottom will serve just about all tripod/stick needs anyway, but it is a fair warning for anyone looking into their Quick Release systems that it's not smooth-going even within the Neewer Arca system.

This is a great way to capture video or photos in both landscape and portrait. Can also have two photos both in the same direction.Also perfect for using one phone as a teleprompter. When I saw it used that way in the photos on this listing, I knew I wanted to try this.The quality is very good. It is what I’ve come to expect from Neewer’s products.Attaches easily to any of my tripods.Portable enough to not take up a lot of space in my camera bag.
