"Doggone" entertaining and fun to read!
I think in today's haphazard and strang occurrences, we all need humor and silliness to enjoy and pass onto others. This author uses clever and entertaining metaphor(s) to generate interest page after page. I was totally entertained by the antics of cleverly named subjects and situations. Give it a try and you'll enjoy it all including your chicken-, err, your funny-bone! DP in DP, CA

Cute story
While this is a cute story it was very repetitive with some of the narration. I started to put it down several times thinking it must be a childrens book but each time had to pick it back up just to see what actually happened to the dog. Never expected the ending so had to give it 4 stars even tho' I had to skip over a lot of the repetitive stuff.

Written in a very sweet dogs point of view
I read all 3 books in this series. I have to say it was very emotional for me with books 2 & 3. I absolutely love the story and how well it was written. I also was very intrigued by the fact it was written by the Arthur's point of view. Cannot wait to read more of Mr. Cowdall's books..

A sweet and encouraging story!
This is a sweet and encouraging story! Would that all our furry friends could find their way home to such a place as this. I enjoyed the humor and smarts of this little dog. I just finished reading this one and plan on buying the next two in the series. I am also buying multiple copies to give to friends for Christmas. Loved it and want to share the joy in this book with others!

What goes round comes round
A silly little story about a dog with a heart as big as all outdoors. He notices everything and makes a life changing decision that affected all who knew him.. or would get to know him.

Great story however...
I loved this book. I cried so much at the end. His dreams were so very sad! Great ending. However, this book being self-published, is in desperate need of an editor. I don't like self-published books because they are so hard to read with lots and lots of typos in it. I know this is a book written in England and know different words are used but, seriously, some sentences did not make sense. If this book is reissued, please use a Publisher. This would win awards if this book was Published properly.I still gave it 5 Stars for the great and heartwarming storytelling.
