Fiber Optic LED Sight Light 3/8-32 Thread - Rheostat Light with 3 Settings, Black

Great budget light. Similar to Axcel, it has 3 brightness settings. I cant find a difference from axel light other than this is a blue light (no functionality trade off), and price. $20 cheaper. Would buy again.

This light works as long as it’s not cold. I thought the batteries had died during a hunt. Took it off and went inside to change batteries. After finding the replacement batteries, which took me about ten minutes, I checked it again and it worked! So back on my sight it went. The next hunt the same think. Light doesn’t work. Took it off went inside hunted my batteries up again. Check it again and it works! I changed the batteries anyway. Next hunt, guess what? Didn’t work. Took me a while to figure it out but all my hunts were cold weather. When I would bring it inside where it was warm it would work after warming up. I tested this theory a couple times. Not on stand but just taking it from inside to outside. Checked it as soon as I went outside. It worked. Left it for 30 minutes outside and checked it. No work! Brought inside with in 10 minutes it worked! Nice light until you get into about 35 or less degrees.

Simple little light. Just twists to turn on and clicks to each brightness setting. It appears that even though it's off, there is still just the faintest ultraviolet light shining through. After months of use, there is still no dimming occurring. And much cheaper than the alternatives. Great option if you're looking for a cheap, functional light to brighten up your bow sight.

Direct fit and bright

havent had much time to use yet. works well. liked that there were three settings. original with sight had no distinct settings.

Prefer one that adjust from 1-100% brightness

The best part of this light is the positive tactile clicks. It clearly clicks on and clicks off and there are distinct light level positions to choose from. One the lowest light level, the batteries have already lasted more than 3 hours (only took on 1 trip so far). The only change I would make on this light would be for it to only have one light level: the lowest setting. The 2 other light settings are too bright. I guess it could even be used as an emergency flashlight. This light replaces the original, worthless, TruGlow sight light that only intermittently works and burns through batteries.Shipping was quick. I received the light within 3 days of the order (from Great Deals).

A full intensity bow sight light at dusk/dawn tends to attract the attention of deer (at least around my stand) if they look in my general direction, so either I place a piece of tape, with a pinhole, over the small lens...which tends to move or come off when I screw it into the sight, or I get an adjusting light.....there are not too many choices....this one functions about 1/2 the time, fussy about the switch and frequently skipping one or two of the 3 settings.....better than nothing I guess.
