She has created a man who is fictional, a little bit broken because of what people have always assumed about it and made it his really, but someone who also wanted to be better because of the person who came in their life.I love this book with all my heart and soul, Noah London is EVERYTHING!!When I read Alive at Night, Julian became my favourite fictional man because of obvious reasons but Noah had also charmed me there. The brother’s best friend trope in this book was so amazing and I loved every moment of Julian and Juni Baby that was given to me in Awake at Dawn.What I cherish the most? Another flower reference by Amelie. Like Noah said, you are a poet.The entire setting of the book with introduction of Winnie had my smiling and cackling but this book had equal amount of swoon and spice & that’s just the way I like my books.Noah, Noah , Noah, Noah- I feel daddy/mommy issues are a general issue in fictional sportsman and more than that, they are misunderstood because of their misspent rookie days😂 but London was the king. With how gone he was from the very first introduction of Gemma & Noah together in the book and how past snippets her shown, it was obvious how he always observed her and wanted her to be near him. When he offers her to stay with him, he doesn’t know she is pregnant but her morning sickness during their meeting has him running and caring for her in every way he can. From there everything he did, even after not being the dad of the baby had me MELTED. He loved the baby like his own and wanted to protect both of them in anyway he can. Noah is the most perfect man l've ever read about and obviously raised my standards a little high. He's caring, protective with his love language being act of service and oh how he falls first and hard.Gemma is the sweetest FMC I have read about I mean from how she made everyone she met fall in love with her like Winnie and Noah’s niece- Chloe. He stuck up for Noah in from of his brothers which was so sweet to read about.The way he wanted the baby to be his had me in a puddle.You know what I loved? The chemistry that was shown. It was because of the love and care Noah showed that Gemma could let her walls down again and let someone help her. I liked to witness character growth and also their relationship with all the side characters. London siblings were adorable and oh the final chapter text chain had me laughing hard.I enjoyed this book, loved it, adored it and want to cherish it forever 😭😭

Gemma and Noah were absolutely adorable right from the beginning and I loved seeing their relationship progress. Noah was a DILF and lawdddd the spicy scenes? I was fanning myself no lie😏 Also, seeing those lil Juniper cameos while reading Nemma's story made my heart happy y'all🥹 Overall, this is a great read if you're looking for a roommates/fwb to lovers romance with a reformed player, an accidental pregnancy (where he's not the bio dad but he's the DADDY) with a dose of brother's friend, a smitten hero, some spicy moments and ALL the feels then Awake at Dawn is the book for you!❤️*Thank you to Amelie Rhys for providing me with an ARC!

It’s my first time reading a book with the pregnancy trope and I have to admit, I was skeptical of the it when i first heard of it being in this book but I was pleasantly surprised when i finished this book!There are SOO many good tropes in this book that I didn’t get the chance to list them all so here’s an extension of the tropes. This is the perfect amalgamation of forbidden romance meets secret roomates because she’s pregnant BUT he isn’t the dad, just the daddy.Noah London,the hot, NFL football player is our mmc. Everyone knows him to be this playboy who goes through girls like he goes through his clothes. But, little do they know, he has a soft spot for his bestfriend’s sister, Gemma, who’s clearly off-limits.Gemma Briggs, our fmc, is a Figure Skating Coach at a local rink. Coincidentally, Noah’s niece skates at the same rink. After he finds out about her one-night-stand with her boss which ended up in her getting pregnant and evicted, he offers her to stay with him. In exchange, she takes care of his dog and sometimes his niece while he’s away at his games. Before they know it, they slowly start falling for each other. But what do you think will happen when something they meant to be temporary soon turns into something they both want to be permanent?I have no complaints for this book at all! Noah had me squealing and giggling with some of his lines I can’t wait for everyone to fully experience this book! The smut was literal perfection. Before I conclude, I would like to thank Amelie and Team for picking me to read this ARC. I’m beyond grateful for getting this opportunity to read Gemma and Noah’s story!

I was ecstatic when I received an ARC for this book! I read the first book in the series, Alive at Night, and it was one of my favorite books of the year so far so I had very high hopes for this one and it did NOT disappoint! In fact, I may have liked it better than Alive at Night!Accidental pregnancy is usually not a trope I read much or enjoy but I absolutely devoured this. I love a book with flashbacks and while this one didn't have as many flashback scenes as Alive at Night, I did love getting the small glimpses of when Gemma and Noah first met so we could see their connection and how they had both been sort of pining over each other for the past 8 years. I loved how Noah stepped in and offered to help Gemma right away and I loved how calm and supportive he was once he found out she was pregnant. The character growth from both of them was so well done and realistic, plus then layering in their relationship and when they realize they both wanted more from just roommates with benefits - the entire book had me blushing and kicking my feet in the air!This book was spicier than I was expecting (in a good way) - it's kind of a slow burn but then once the spice hits, it's just HOT! The tension leading up to them kissing for the first time was incredible and so well done. I love how protective Noah was of Gemma, but then he also gave her space and time to realize that she could stand up for herself and not be such a people pleaser. And I loved how Gemma stood up to Noah's family - her interactions with his brothers were some of my favorite parts of the book! Also I loved seeing Juniper and Julian cameos! So happy we got to see their wedding!!This book is high on the top of my list of best books I've read this year (and of all time!) and I would most definitely recommend it!

Noah & Gemma went straight after my heart.Gemma was an absolute sweetheart, and i admired her strength. Her obsession with mugs reminded me of myself and my collection.With Noah, Gemma finally found someone with whom she could feel safe and secure and be completely vulnerable. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Awake at Dawn and I loved it!! Gemma and Noah were such a fun read, I loved seeing their relationship grow! Now I will say, Alive At Night has a special place in my heart, it’s one of my favourite romance novels of all time so I had high expectations for Gemma and Noah, and man did they get there! Noah’s pining, his caretaking and his love for Gemma was clear as day! Reformed playboy really just is so brilliant because when they fall, they fall hard!! Seeing Gemma just feel more powerful and confident in herself and her choices, I loved to see it! Special shoutout to Winnie the best pup around 🐶 and Gemma’s mug collection!
