Attaches securely to the phone case. On occasion, it does get hot enough during charging that to stops charging to cool down; on our phones, usually around 80%. Once it cools, it will restart and finish the charge/

This magsafe feature is completely new to me. Fantastic!I have purchased many Anker products over the years. They are reliable, visually appealing and always at the cutting edge of technology. I've come to appreciate that I can never go wrong with Anker.

I purchased 2 of these units and had intentions of using 1 at my desk and allowing my son to use the other one overnight. This charger gets pretty hot... I'm used to being able to use my phone while it charges and it gets warm with a wired charger, but this charger gets HOT. I know from previous experience heat will significantly shorten the battery's lifespan so I'm not sure I will continue to use this product. I have purchased numerous items from Anker in the past so I destroyed the box and tossed it in the trash not having any intention of returning it, but I really regret doing that.Update - Added a couple of stars for the customer service aspect. They reached out to me and said it could be a defective item. I tried multiple outlets, charging blocks, and even with and without the case. In the end they offered another item or a refund .I have many of their products around the house. They always seem to be great quality products with no issues. I still can't recommend the product, but the company has incredible customer service. Expect it to be warm to the touch, but it shouldn't get so hot you can't handle the device. Keep the box around so you have that option

This charger works great for my iPhone 16 Pro. It takes up little space on a nightstand and has any easy to attach magnet, which makes it easy to connect, even in the dark.

Strong magnetic connection, fast charging, lower profile/less noticeable than other wireless chargers I’ve had. I will continue to only buy Anker cords/plugs/surge protectors.

I had high hopes for this MagSafe charger, being cheaper than the Apple original while maintaining a fast (ish) 15w charging speed.Pulling this charger out of the box, I noticed a few things:1) It looks really nice!2) The magnet seems to adhere very well to both of my MagSafe devices, one of which has a case and the other that doesn't. My phones can be held aloft by the magnetic connection without fear that it'll fall if I really want it to.3) There's a charging brick in the box rated for 5.0v / 3.0a, so it should be sufficient to power this thing. That's another benefit over the Apple original, which I don't believe comes with a charger in the box.I purchased this to integrate into a 3D printing project, so I quickly modified my design and printed out a test, which seemed to fit pretty much perfectly on the first try. (Go me!) I got it set up and put it down, intending to record a quick video to show my friends this new innovation... Which would've gone great, except that it didn't start charging for awhile. It eventually started, but it didn't make for a good video. Thinking it must be a fluke, I tried again. This time, the charging never started.I tried both of my devices, both in and out of the case, in and out of the 3D printing project, trying to avoid interference. I tried other charging bricks with higher output, and nothing changed. Occasionally charging would start (after 15 to 20 seconds of dead space) but it would never happen instantly, and sometimes it would never find it.Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to like this product, I will be returning it as defective. Hopefully my unit was simply a lemon, but now with Apple announcing its new MagSafe charger that has a 25w power output, I'm planning on just picking up one of those instead.

I think I’m going to return this charger. I got it today and decided to try it out on my week old iPhone 16 Pro. I read the reviews about it getting hot but decided to give Anker the benefit of the doubt. I’ve had several of their products over the years. This thing gets way too hot. I unplugged it after 15 minutes because I’m scared it’s going to damage my phone. Sorry Anker.

Another great product by Anker. The charging puck is very durable that when I remove it from the phone the thud when it plops on my table either a heavy thud reassures me it will last a long time. Great deal coming with the charging brick, though if you already have a better/faster one with more ports stick with that.
