This is an excellent cheese slicer. Previously I always used a knife to slice cheese. This slicer makes the job so easy. Using a knife, the cheese always stuck to the knife and made it very difficult to get all slices the same width. I have also used it to slice corned beef etc.

Bought for Christmas gift and it was well recieved , sharp wires so be careful plus spares. Easy to use, and neatly fits in a kitchen drawer

Does what you'd hope and the storage caddy for the two spare wires is great. Cuts. Through mature cheddar no problem, even cuts through waxed cheese. Been through dishwasher once so far, no issues.

Bought this to help speed up the process of making cheese boards for the christmas holidays, and it worked perfectly even on soft or crumbly cheeses. Much better result than cutting by hand!It works on ham too, and sandwiches. Hey, it was already on the counter and I was feeling lazy!Came with two extra cutting wires but I haven't needed either of them yet as the original wire is still going strong.The device is very lightweight and has a low profile, making storage rather easy. It was very easy to clean, there are no nooks and crannies for cheese crumbs to hide in. I ran it through the dishwasher once and there were no ill effects, I just made sure to dry it quickly.Very happy with this product, will continue eating cheese.
