A/AS Level English Language and Literature for AQA Student Book (A Level (AS) English Language and Literature AQA) Paperback – Student Edition, 9 July 2015

I think this book is very useful for the new English specification as it does not have any guide books or source materials for revision out there. Therefore I find this book very useful and informative.

Clear explanations and seems comprehensive- very disappointed that many resources/ examples referred to are only available at extra cost of an on- line subscription! Feels like a rip off although what's here is good.

Arrived promptly. Useful book with clear explanation.

Not the best, but it was required by my college tutor to be purchased. The book isn't exactly 'A level stuff' as some of the activities are very silly, and topics are vague, some of them aren't even needed. It's got a few terms, but some of them are incorrect. The textbook isn't specific to your exam texts, it's a general cover for all of them, which, again, isn't very useful. It is, however, good to use for some sections, especially the coursework section at the back of the book, other than that - a complete waste of time. I wouldn't recommend choosing this as your main source of information for the course.
