Tefal Aquaspeed FV5331G0 Anti-Scale Steam Iron, 2400 Watt, Lilac

Seems bulky and heavy but actually irons very easily and well. But have to say if I had picked this iron up and tried it in a shop I would never have bought it as the steam button on the underside of the handle is very inconveniently placed and I am still trying to find a comfortable way of holding it. I will persevere as the iron does do a good job.

Had this iron a couple of days after the one year guarantee expired and it has packed up. Will be buying a Tesco own make one at a fraction of the price to replace it

Makes ironing very easy. It's really heavy but you don't feel the weight when ironing, since it slides really easily. Drips a little bit if you use the power steam a few times in a row, but apart from that is great.

Really happy with this new iron. My last one , also a Tefal, was awful. I had only had it 3-4years and it leaked like a sieve. I was in two minds whether to get another Tefal but for went for a different one in the Tefal range. I am so pleased I stuck with Tefal, this iron is great. Some people have been unhappy with the extra steam button under the handle but I don't have a problem with it, In fact I find it very convenient. If there is one little niggle then it's greedy on water but it is easy to fill and it does provide a good amount of steam.

Started sticking to clothes after its warranty ended so your stuck with it after that. Worked great before it started sticking but now i just need to be very careful ironing by starting on very low heat and increasing gradually.

have always had tefal irons but this one leaked from day one. It may have been that the one delivered was not new !!! but woud not buy this one again

Pros : Lovely long flex. Good steam. Comfortable grip and I like the cable tidy.Cons :needs re-filled with water frequently and super steam function is a bit sporadic.Very happy overall.

Lots of steam and spray, non stick easy glide sole plate, and solid and safe when standing on its heal. I don't particularly like the front fill - it is difficult to read the fill level (marked in the horizontal plane) when filling. Lovely iron, not too heavy but heavy enough to iron without undue pressing. Highly recommended and if it lasts as long as its predecessor I will be well pleased.
