Very good
Last year I bought a re-usable Vietnamese coffee filter set; I like Vietnamese coffee and thought the product would be useful. It was, except that it took forever to stain. When I came across this product I was skeptical given my previous experience. But decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad that I did - the disposable strainer is excellent and quick! The coffee flavor is pretty good too.The filter has two flaps on either side that pull apart and hang over the edge of your coffee cup - to hold the filter in place as you pour hot water over the coffee grinds. The flaps are fairly sturdy, and as long as your coffee cup is not too wide, they will support the additional weight of the water. The grind of the coffee and the filter itself allow for a pretty quick strain - without diluting the robustness of the coffee itself. The price point is a bit to high for me to buy the product on a regular basis, so I will probably not buy this product as a regular part of my coffee routine. However I saw that Copper Cow Coffee offers the filter product separately (without the coffee or creamer), and as I love Vietnamese coffee, I will probably order a box of the filters.

This product is a work of genius
I'm lucky to live in a neighborhood with three good independent coffee houses in walking distance (one even imports and roasts its own beans), plus two (2) Peets and a Starbucks. So I've scarcely made coffee at home in years, and haven't bought out-of-town pre-ground coffee within memory. Until I tried these Copper Cow kits (also sold, at similar per-portion price, by Backpacker's Pantry in special sturdy 2-serving outer packages very good for travel: Backpacker's Pantry Copper Cow Vietnamese Coffee One Color, One Size ).First, there's that clever little (airtight-packaged) filter pack with pull-out paper hooks that hold it at the top of a mug. "Instant" filtered coffee wherever there's hot water -- no filter holder needed, no machines. (Be careful to open the filter pouch properly -- the "tear" perforations are invisible, and below a row of visible holes that are part of the paper you tear off.)Then, each filter pack comes along with a pouch of sweetened condensed milk to add to taste. But what really made it for me was the coffee quality. This is way beyond anything I've experienced with pre-ground coffee before. More like the flavor I associate with local independent coffee shops. The quality of the product hits you with the fresh aroma on opening the sealed outer packet. Finally: shelf-stable "instant" coffee that tastes like the Real Enchilada.

Perfect way to brew strong coffee on the road
I took these packets on a trip recently, because, even though my hotel room had a small Keurig, I really wanted a nice, strong-bodied cup of brewed coffee without having to get dressed and leave the room. This was the perfect solution. Since I was using the Keurig and couldn't control the water speed, at one point the water level seems to get dangerously high to going over in the filter, but it slowly went down without overflowing and created a dark, smooth-tasting cup of coffee. The condensed milk wasn't too sweet or chemical. I just kept the outer packaging and once the cup was brewed, gently pulled it out and put it back in the package so the wet grains wouldn't get all over in the hotel trash. Is $3 a bit pricey? Maybe, but I felt very satisfied with each cup, not like it was a "starter" cup until I could get out and buy a better one.

Copper Cow… Vietnamese for incredible!
This was the best Vietnamese portable pour ov.... NAY coffee I’ve ever had! Bold yet mellow, complex yet approachable, Copper Cow Vietnamese portable pour over coffee filters offered a delightful reprieve in my otherwise dismal office beverage routine. Even the packaging is a classy and tasteful work of art. Would I give this as a gift to a cherished loved one? Absolutely! Oh and don’t even get me started on the California sweetened condensed milk packets… oy, mamma mia! Gimme that sweet creamy goodness!! (*shimmy* *chef’s kiss* *high kick*) Do yourself a favor and don’t sleep on this. Will order again, except that’s right, THIS time I’m going for the 30-pack. And who knows, I MIGHT even go down to the coffee cart on the first floor and show those monsters what GOOD coffee looks like.

Good coffee, great concept!
I mostly drink loose leaf teas---mainly green teas and oolongs, but occasionally I crave coffee---especially the Vietnamese style served with condensed milk. I ran into this product while browsing Amazon and I'm so happy I ordered some. What a find---the single serving pack with its own "hanging" filter is a boon to the occasional coffee drinker---whether for use at home or while travelling. No need to invest in filters and other apparatus---simply sling the handles over a mug, tear off the top from the coffee-filled filter and pour water over it---slowly and in careful measures---and voila!---good, fresh tasting dark roast coffee! I got the coffee-only pack and use organic condensed milk. When I don't have condensed milk, I simply use cream or whole milk and still have a deeply satisfying drink. If I have non-tea drinking guests, these packs will be handy to have on hand---as the coffee packs need no refrigeration or freezing to stay fresh for a good long time. Thank you Copper Cow---I will be ordering more.

Closest Coffee I've found to Hot Vietnamese Coffee in Vietnam
I have searched the world for my favorite coffee. Vietnam is easily my favorite country to have coffee in. However, living on the west coast and having tried at minimum a dozen Vietnamese restaurants I have yet to find one that makes hot Vietnamese Coffee like they do in Vietnam. Most serve cold Vietnamese (more like Thai) coffee. This surprisingly is the closest I've found to in country coffee.Cool concept! Great design! Definitely worth trying!

Love! Never used to make Vietnamese coffee at home ...
Love! Night shift nurse approved for that time of the night when you can’t find a good cup of coffee to save your life. I love that the condensed milk comes in single serving packages so you don’t have to worry about opening a whole can of condensed milk. Coffee is delicious and tastes super fresh. I love that the filter is biodegradable!
