I got this because I run at night when the days are shorter, and I was tired of trying to run and hold my phone for light. This makes so much light that I don’t have to worry about tripping on uneven sidewalks or going down dark streets. I like that you can adjust the angle of the light-helps focus it where I need it most. For me this is much better than a head lamp or lights on the shoes because, being on your chest, it moves very little. The strap is adjustable, so it’s easy to fit it to your needs. I also like that there is a red light on the back of the strap, so you have rear visibility as well.

I love walking before and after work. As the days get shorter, walking in the dark is a necessity. I used to enjoy walking in the dark when I was younger, but now I am concerned about being struck by a car or tripping in the dark. This rig can be pointed down so that the path in front of me is let for about 6 feet or so, allowing me to see holes, curbs, and uneven sidewalks easily. I am also very visible to cars as I cross streets or am forced (due to lack of sidewalks) to walk in the street. So this unit has turned walking in the dark from something I endured because I wanted/needed the exercise, to being as enjoyable as walking during the day.As for the unit itself, it's a bit awkward to put on, but it stays in place once it's on. The straps are not that big (I am 6' 195) and just fit around my chest with a winter coat on. So, a larger person might have issues. My walks are only a half hour or so, so I can't really attest to how long the batteries last on a single charge.

First-thing-in-the-morning runner. As the days get shorter, early mornings are dark. I'm not a big fan of carrying anything in my hands when I run, and my favorite running routes are through a local wilderness park. Rutty trails, plentiful coyotes, varied terrain. So this light looked like it would satisfy my need for trail illumination while keeping my hands free. And I couldn't be more pleased!The unit came fully charged from the factory, well-packaged and damage-free. Though the user manual in online-only, it's not hard to figure out how to wear it. The straps are very easy to adjust, and the overall fit is excellent. This doesn't feel like a bomb-proof piece of gear, but the upside is its light weight. Once on, you can easily forget you're wearing it. Until you turn it on. Bright? Heck yeah. The adjustable nature of the unit allows you to direct the light as close to your path or as far ahead as you like, and it lights up the darkest path at full power. It has two additional settings, a lower-brightness setting and a flashing mode if you need. A USB-C charging cable is included.I wear a Polar chest-strap heart rate monitor when I run, and I was concerned that this unit would interfere with both its operation and its physical placement on the chest. But because it is offset to one side and the straps can be adjusted, both devices work perfectly well together.No idea how long this will last -- as I said, it doesn't feel exactly bomb-proof. But for the price, the utility is first-rate. I feel much safer out in the dark among the coyotes and other creatures of the night (including humans behind the wheel). Well-recommended. UPDATE: After three days of use on three hour-long runs, the front lights just stopped working. The rear red lights continue to operate as designed. As I said, the expected lifetime was unknown but three days seems rather short. Returning for a replacement. Deducting a star.

This was just what I was looking for. Needed something for early morning runs over the fall/winter. This fits comfortably over my vest and is easily adjustable. 3 settings for bright, dimmer and strobe. Red lamp on back so you are seen coming and going. Light is on a swivel so you can light just in front of you or a ways down your path. Charges easily. Great product!

I have had this light for 4 months. It is the second light that I purchased from this company. The first light never worked at all. I returned it and the company replaced it.So this is a review for my second light from Avanto. When it works, this light is great, but it has problems. Often one of the cords is loose and the light blinks off mid run. Recharging it is very frustrating. The charger doesn't always work. The overall concept is great and when it works, the light is bright. I just cant count on it. I am using a different light now.

My AVANTO Runners, Joggers and, Dog Walkers chest reflective sash and chest light was packaged well and delivered in undamaged shape, no issues.I use the light every night walking my dogs in the dark. Extremely useful USB-C rechargeable end the drudgery of change batteries. It charges very quickly with included C power cord. The projector lights are very bright and well-focused. The safety light on the back is an added level of protection from cars. The quality is very sturdy, and the options are very well thought out. This is a great chest light.

This product gives off great light and is easy to wear. Unfortunately, the button used to turn the light on and off fell off, and was lost, after only three or four uses.

The light belt is simple to wear and use. Pressing a single button on the lamp lights both the front light and the red caution emblem on the back to insure drivers can see me. The lamp can also be aimed straight out or down to show me anything in walking path to keep me from tripping over something I couldn't otherwise see in the dark. The lamp battery stays charged for quite a long time and recharge easily. The straps are simple to adjust for size and comfort. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The only improvement I might suggest would be to enclose the connecting wires in one of the shoulder straps to make putting it on a bit simpler.
