Rugged and Sturdy
I purchased this bag to replace my old dive bag which was not as sturdy. I can fit my fins, booties, wetsuit, regulator, gloves , mask, and accessories without fear of tearing the straps from the weight away from the bag. There is space for a towel if needed. I haven't tried it out yet to see what the additional weight of a wetsuit and booties would be when wet, butt I think it should support the additional weight. There is a big dry pocket which I can put my clothes in their to keep things dry. The mesh is like a poly propylene mesh with makes it not absorb water. Others are saying their grommets will rust but I haven't gotten it wet, but my old dive bag had grommets and it never rusted. The back pack straps are padded with a front cross strap. and seem to pretty well attached to the bag so I think it can support a fair amount of weight. There is a sewn in pad where the bag rest on the back for cushion and it makes it sturdy. I am not sure if it would make it require a longer drying time because it would absorb water when rinsing and the black fabric seem seem thick enough to last several years. I went with this model style versus the round duffle with handles and a shoulder strap, because the weight distribution would be across both shoulders instead of a single strap with pressure at one location on the shoulder. The front pocket is another feature but I don't think I would make good use of it but nice to have. There are two water bottle pocket which I appreciate it to be deep enough so the bottles don't fall out. Overall I am please with it and plan on keeping it.

Same as a very expensive "name brand" version.
This bag is almost identical to a MUCH more expensive "name brand" which costs at least 4x more. Holds a BCD, boots, regulator, and mask case, and has plenty more room. Fins mount easily on the outside pockets. Shoulder straps are comfortable making it easy to carry.

Overall decent
It is a large bag and well ventilated. The construction is decent but the eyelets/grommets for the closure at the top are not well attached. Three have come loose already and I'll have to look for replacement grommets to install.

Thoroughly impressed with this bag!
I rarely write reviews (I really should more often, as I rely on them so much), but I was inspired to write one for this bag, as I am really pleased with this bag. Made the mistake of going on a trip without a proper dive bag (I should know better, not like it was my first rodeo) and resolved to get something that would fit both my and my wife's snorkel gear, and this bag absolutely fits the ticket.Easily fits two sets of snorkel gear (fins, booties, mask, and snorkel), with room for two towels and a few other things to boot. Very comfortable to wear as a backpack. Thankfully haven't had to use the whistle, but it's a nice added bonus. Huge interior zipper pocket, and two water bottle holders. Bag drains very well - when I'm feeling lazy, I'll just dunk the whole bag in the rinse tank and it dries quickly.Definitely recommend this bag if you're in the market for something like this!

Perfect bag for boat diving
This was a great bag for boat dives and I was able to fit all my scuba gear including my BCD, regs, fins, mask etc. The bag collapses down well to fit in my travel case. Easy to clean at the end of the day and dry by the morning.
