Pontec filter and watercourse pump PondoMax Eco 5000

Excellent up to know. Only gave 4 stars because I had to change the plug to a British one

So this will be a first impression review only. Based on this i am very impressed with this pump, It has a great output pumping up 1m from the bottom of my pond to a filter then water blade return. If this lasts for a good few years then it will be worth the price i paid. The pump came with a two pin euro plug fitted which i knew when i bought it but this didn't matter to me anyway as i was fitting this directly to an outdoor switchbox anyway. The pump itself was very easy to assemble and you have to remove two screws first that are to stop it getting damaged during transit. Once removed the casing unclips for easy access to the pump inside. It comes with a stepped hosetail which can be cut to fit the size of hose/pipework you are using.To sum up, at present based on first impressions this looks like a solid heavy well made pump and i would recommend it. If i have any issues with it i will update this review to reflect that.
