I like this protein powder, i needed something non dairy...i put it in my coffee for added benefits and it has a nice flavor ,it gives me energy without a crash...I think the price is reasonable...I like to mix it in my creamer in blender for a good mix.. it does have a chalky after taste when settles....its not bad though....its a good non dairy option...

This is by far the best plant based protein powder I’ve tried. It mixes well in smoothies and doesn’t fluff up like whey protein isolate. The monk fruit sweetener doesn’t have the nasty aftertaste like most others that use stevia. It’s not as gritty as most plant based proteins but not as smooth as whey, but I don’t have to worry about lactose. It’s packed by weight, not volume and a little shaking made it fill most of the container after settling from shipping. It works great to supplement my protein intake and keep me going throughout the day.

THE GOOD I’ll start off with, I’m not a fan of the monk fruit sweetener after taste.. but I appreciate that is a healthier sweetener. The after taste is similar to stevia, of which I’m also not a fan (I like sucralose). The aftertaste is DEFINITELY the worst part. This product, like most of the plant based protein shakes also has a bit of gritty texture. I am not bothered by this since all 3 different brands of plant based protein shakes have a similar texture. THE GOOD This product seems to have more protein than several other plant based protein shakes. Love the addition of probiotics. I am able to mix it fairly well using just water and ice. Defiantly mixes more easily than animal/milk based proteins. It’s also easier on my stomach than the milk based protein shakes. I’m not lactose intolerant but having 3 milk based protein shakes a day will make my stomach angry. AS LONG as you do, not mind the monk fruit AFTERTASTE It’s a GREAT VALUE for the money.

I usually prefer my body fortress vanilla protein but amazon and everywhere else was sold out so I thought I'd give this a try. The advertising looked promising and like it would be absolutely delicious but it WAS NOT. It was terrible right from the rip. The texture was grainy the flavor was bitter and it tastes like a diet drink. You definitely miss the few grams of sugar that this lacks. I was very dissatisfied. And the container is way bigger than the amount of protein powder that it contains. They could definitely use smaller packaging and not waste as much plastic as they do.

The truth is, this product arrived just when I needed it. I was looking for a plant-based protein to supplement my diet without added sugar, and this one completely met my expectations. I love it because it's light, easy to digest, and doesn't leave me feeling heavy, which is very important to me. The vanilla flavor is pleasant, not overpowering, and mixes very well. Since I started using it, I feel more energetic and at ease knowing I'm consuming something that provides good protein without unnecessary ingredients. It has definitely become an essential part of my daily routine, and I will continue to buy it.

I have used OWYN for years but it’s not the same anymore. It tastes much different. And the container label has defects. When I called to report my dissatisfaction, I was told another company bought the brand recently. I am now concerned that, having observed the packaging quality, that the costs were reduced in the product itself.

So yummy and no sugar? Love it. Blends well and is not chalky.

OWYN swears that putting the powder in hot coffee doesn't degrade the health benefits. So I tried it. Zero sugar so I'm happy about that, as a diabetic. Mixes well using a frother. I feel good knowing I'm getting some protein in the morning when I don't have time to make breakfast. It's a little gritty, but not nearly as gritty as some powders I've tried. Every sugar free product has an after taste to me, but this one is minimal. Would highly recommend.
