These tablets work well, and they are MUCH less expensive than any other brand I could find.From now on I will be adding one tab per ton every time I change the filter.I will definitely be purchasing these again when this jar runs out (a year from now).I highly recommend using these to eliminate algae growth and stale odors in your AC system.

These are surprisingly effective and should last a few years.

Been using it for a ice water draining for my ice machine. Cleaned it manually, the inside areas of the pump were still a little dodgy. Put in 5 tablets to start then one every couple days. I think I'm down to weeks/month maintenance at this point. It's great because my pump has one of extra holes where you can stick another tube in. But they are perfect for feeding the tables.

I've been using these for the last few years to help keep my drain for A/C clear.Since my central air handler is located in the attic of my 2 story home, the condensate drain is drained by gravity. I learned the hard way a few years ago about how bacteria can grow inside of the drain line and block flow, causing the water pan to fill up and leak into my ceiling, through the walls and all the way into my basement.Since then, I've been dropping 2 into the trap right off the air handler and dropping a few on the drip pan inside the air handler every month or two. I haven't had a backup or blockage since!These came at the recommendation of an HVAC friend. I used to buy the small package at HD, but this bottle should last me a long, long time. If you have a home with an A/C unit, you probably should be using these.
