Love how soft all the brushes are. Love the blender. I think these will work well for a really longer time.

I received seven make up brushes in this kit and one pink beauty blender.They did have a bit of a smell coming out of the package, so a quick rinse with or without a mild soap would be suggested.I was impressed that the beauty blender not only smelled better, expanded in size, and worked better after a quick rinse/wash with mild soap.As for the brushes themselves, I do not mind that they are artificial bristles, I prefer that to animal fur/bristles. The handles are plastic. The brushes/handles are definitely lightweight.So far I have used the second two biggest brush. I personally used it for a face powder after I applied my tinted BB cream. The brush bristles are definitely soft, maybe a little too soft. But I could work with it.The bristles picked up a decent amount of product, but yet did not waste all of that product or "soak it up".I personally feel that the foundation brush could have denser packed bristles.The largest brush, which I believe I should have used for the all over face powder, was a little too soft for that & I was afraid I would have too much fallout/waste.But I might try it just to see how it works out.The eye make up brushes, I only used one., No make that too. I used a blending one, and the second to biggest for 2 shades of similar eyeshadow.The eyeshadow colors packed onto the bristles nicely, I did not have to re-swipe, much.Again there was a little bit of fall out, but I like that there's not an obnoxious amount of waste.The beauty blender worked nice. I used it to blend my tinted BB cream, and to apply some powder underneath the eyes to "bake".Both jobs were done efficiently and quickly with no complaints.Overall, these make up brushes and beauty blender are on par quality wise with the price and brand.They are good for beginners to make up, people who need extra brushes in their arsenal, traveling, or for your regular every day make up application brushes.
