Yes! This top is excellent for both sun and insect protection. I use it for outdoor work and gardening. It is great if you are in tick territory.

Q: does it protect you from the sun....or not?! i'm noticing an abundance of reviews clearly showing sunburned skin! not buying until company replies!

I have to cover my skin while outside due to the type of treatment I am receiving for squamous cell carcinoma, and so far, it protects perfectly and doesn't make me feel overheated, which is exactly what I needed (plus a floppy hat, of course), because I love to go for walks and didn't want to be stuck inside.

Q: 5'11" tall. long torso and arms @ 160 lbs any recommendations on sizing...lupus cutaneous skin condition...any help appreciated...

At 5'3-1/2, 150 pounds, for older adult female, the XL comes well below a thick midriff and ends at about mid-hip The sleeves with thumb holds are long, but provide the sun protection I want from this product. The material is polyester, with interior seams at the sides and inner aspects of the arm sleeves. The XL is baggy, but allows me to wear a thin baselayer underneath. I have also worn it alone without a baselayer. The product does not come with too much sizing in the fabric.

Q: Does this come in Extra Small in Black?

Hi, kindly know that this item doesn't have size XS, it has sizes from S to 3XL. Hope this helps.
