WE bought two of these, one for home and one for camping. First thing we noticed is the heft! It's sturdy and attractive. This is a huge improvement over the traditional glass coffee press. This will keep coffee satisfyingly drinkable for about one hour. One minor quibble is the top has a sloped underside which you align with the spout to pour. The problem is that it lets the heat out of the pitcher. Our simple solution was to put a dot on the top with a sharpie and then rotate it 180 to help it keep warm longer.

I don't drink coffee myself, all of my friends and family do. I don't want to deal with grumpy, caffeine-deprived houseguests, but I also don't wat to spend a fortune on a clunky coffee machine that only gets used periodically. This french press solves the problem perfectly! It's easy to use and clean, looks fantastic and brews a great cup of coffee (according to my guest, and she's a picky coffee drinker). Remember to get coarse ground coffee.

Love, love this French press. I am a native Louisianian. Grew up on Community Dark roast and still buy it, however, my little drip pot I used for years has a hole in it. My Kuerig cup, mr coffee, and percolator do not do the job. I have had this pot 2 days and am so happy. It's so simple, but beautiful, easy to clean, thermal, extra filters that will last forever, and a heavy cool scoop. Did I mention quality stainless steel?

I'm a coffee press nut! Bought a nice lake house vacation home and couldn't NOT have a press, and this red just happens to be the kitchen accent color. Was able to get a color matched kettle and the kitchen looks perfect!!!

I use the Highwin French Press for loose leaf tea. The filtering process works quite well to keep the tea leaves contained, preventing them from moving form the press to the cup. The red color is quite attractive and fits well into the color scheme of our other appliances. Following the provided cleaning instructions ensures a long lasting useful product. An added bonus is the extra filter to use when the original no longer serves its purpose.

*pictures currently have coffee in the press, oops!* My boyfriend and I prefer french press over any other form of making coffee and find that this product is a great fit! The flavor is great and is relatively easy to clean since you can unscrew the mesh from the base to soak. The only thing is, the last little bit of coffee tends to have quite a bit of grounds in it- but I think that goes for any press (we use Bustelo so its relatively fine already). Would recommend this product to anyone willing to switch to french pressed coffee!

Liked this, worked great, but keeping it for a back up. Turns out I can't stand the sound/sensation of the metal being scraped when you "press". Sends chills down my spine.

This is a well made and nicely finished French Press and I would give it 5 stars for looks. However, on filling it with hot water it immediately felt warm to the touch which means it is not insulating, and in fact it lost heat as quickly as an non-insulated glass French press. 1 star for that. Buyers beware! Buy for looks not insulating properties.

Extremely frustrating quality.I received the coffee pot with the scratches and damages on the copper coating. It looks like the manufacturing defect. Probably I wouldn't bother contacting the seller for the refund but this is not a cheap product. I emailed the seller twice during last 7 days but still didn't get neither reply not refund.
