This hi-fi sound system has everything you need to enjoy your music, new or old. The turntable at the top is manual, so you have to get up to lift the tone arm off the record. It can play records at 3 speeds: 33rpm, 45rpm and 78rpm.The USB function works really well too, and you can even record music from a USB stick onto cassette.The cassette decks work perfectly and use piano-style keys for the buttons. If you plan to make a recording, know that only deck one has a recording head.Finally, the CD player also works nicely and Is very solid with good sound quality.The unit can change mode with a slider on the top left (Tape, phono, cd/USB and radio). Also, to save power, the system will switch itself off after 15 minutes of no music playing.Overall, I highly recommend this product and advise you get it if you want to enjoy the vinyls if the past, and CDs of today.

I was able to play all of my old tapes and vinyls and it brought back many memories. The system is good value for the money and has lots of plus points but I do have some points to raise. Because the product advertised a remote control I assumed that I could control the sound level and on/off from my chair. I have polymyalgia and moving from my chair is very painful indeed. The music centre cannot be placed near my chair. Not having the flexibility to turn off or down when the 'phone rings is very inconvenient and painful. The remote seems to control the CD - stop/ start/pause etc. and some recording functions, but there is no function that helps me. By the time I discovered all of this I was too unwell to repack it for return so I have decided to keep it and because of all that I am very disappointed as I had saved up for it for a long time. Apart from that the manufacturers really should get a native English speaker to check their instructions before printing - is would be very helpful. Although I have my own specific problems with this it is, in fact, a really good product for your average user.

Sound reproduction was very poor on all media.The CD player insisted that no tracks could be found on certain pre-recorded discs.Tuner could not find my local station and all others were snowed under with static even with the wire aerial fully extended.Have now gone back to my £24 Asda radio which has crystal clear reproduction.

Unit looks good and is a nice compact size but there seems to be a problem with the cd player so I may have to return it if it doesn't come right. The fast forward on the tape deck is very slow and the slider switches are rather flimsy.

This is a great sound system and gives good quality sound. Very few systems around now that have the old fashioned tape CD and vinyl all in one and the person we bought it for is older so he appreciated that he could play all of his music regardless of format. The seller was a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend them fully.
