Kitty Caps Nail Caps: Black With Gray Tips & Baby Blue, 40 Count, X-Small

Update: I have since tried another brand providing more caps with more colors for about the same price, they were awful. The caps were much thicker and fell off quickly. These caps were still on after all of the new brand ones had fallen off even though these were applied way before. I also think having these be a thinner cover also means he does not notice them. I only use them on his back paws and he never fussed with them or seems to notice them at all 🤷🏻‍♀️.I saw lots of negative reviews on here suggesting these are cruel. In general if you have an indoor cat you can just trim their nails and it does much the same thing as these. HOWEVER my cat had an allergic reaction to a new food which caused him to scratch his neck. He now keeps scratching the scabs off. I can use these in his back paws to create a mail he can’t injure himself with while his neck heals. This is MUCH kinder than a cone which makes animals miserable. It’s hard for them to eat, get in and out of the cat box, walk, and they can’t clean themselves. While these mail covers would never be my go-to cat maintenance, for an injury they are PERFECT.These might be a great option if you are traveling with a cat as well if you need to ensure they do not damage anything.

This states they will fall off within 4-8 weeks, we are now on week 12, only 1 or 2 have came off on 2 cats. Both my cats claws have now grown to the point that the caps are digging into their toe beans. They are so difficult to get off it is distressing for the cat. Avoid at all costs.

I have a 13 year old cat. I've tried everything and clearly failed as a cat mother because she will not stop scratching carpets. We were renting so I had to put these on her or risk having to move. She didn't mind having them on or even notice once they were on, the glue didn't smell at all. Only advice is to make sure you clip the cats claws when replacing them or the caps will dig into their pads.

They work, but don't stay on long. The instructions say not to use too much glue. This probably to prevent the cap sticking to the cat instead just the nail. But the glue is not excessively strong and the caps fall off pretty fast actually.

So you need to clipYour cat’s claws before using these. So what the point of them is I don’t know. I wanted them to stop him scratching after his operation. In the end I just had his claws trimmed. Returned.

Llegaron en un color que no quería, debería haber forma de escoger porque no me gustaron, quería rosas y llegaron negras, son xs pero aún así son muy grandes para mi gato de 3 meses así que se le cayeron, las probare en unos meses

Los compré para evitar que mis michis rasguñen a mi niña por accidente 😅. No protegen los muebles si los gatos están súper enmañados, pero para evitar accidentes con bebés son perfectos. Da un poco de trabajo colocarlos la primera vez solamente

These are very good kitty caps ! I put them on my cat very easily but it is a two person job lol one person to hold the cat while your applying the nail caps . They have stayed on so far for a couple weeks and doing what they are supposed too
