The first one I received was defective. I bought this to use on iOS devices. The sound quality was terrible and the adapter was triggering Siri over and over and over again. So I put in for a replacement through Amazon. The second one came in and works perfectly! Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and the sound quality is great! Five stars!

I used this UGREEN magnetic USB-C to 3.5 mm audio adapter with my phone and it worked smoothly for both audio output and pass-through charging. The magnetic connection is convenient and makes it easy to attach and remove.

So far I've had no problem using this. I'm able to charge my phone while using it as a poor-man's DAC to play music through my old stereo system. The connection is stable and I haven't heard any popping, hiss, etc. I know this isn't an audiophile device, but neither is a smartphone. This sure beats the hell out of Bluetooth though, and you can still charge your phone. I've been thinking of using an old phone as a dedicated media storage device until I get an actual dedicated one. The design is very durable and the components are housed in metal housings. Magnets are built into them which holds the two ends together, which is more handy than I originally thought. Old stereo systems can become a mess of wires pretty quickly and when you include a 2.5mm to 1/4" adapter to connect the old stereo-in plug to the amp it's a lot. This little device is perfect for my needs. I haven't noticed any heating issues but I have a dedicated amp. I'm using this as an adapter and I don't know how it would perform if you tried to power speakers directly. I think the value is great and the shipping was fast enough that I didn't move on to another project for a few weeks. It's a great buy and already paid for itself. I'm using VLC on my phone (free) to play my mp3 files, but you can use whatever you like if you don't care about owning music.

This adapter works flawlessly with my phone and my Hi-Res Headphones. I'm not an audiophile but I am impressed by the quality this price point. No strange noises, good fit and a nice quality appearance. It connected immediately with my phone without any issues.

I finally upgraded my Samsung S10 and the new phone of course doesn't have a headphone jack. I long for the days where devices actually had ports and everything wasn't forced to be wireless and not work half the time. Alas. This little gadget helps my luddite tendencies to still function in our technical world. Nothing to using it - it's just plug and play. It actually is an improvement because of the native charging, which I wasn't getting before straight plugging into a headphone jack. Pleased overall.

Alright, gotta come back and redo my review. I believe I was mistaken, though I haven't been able to test this in other vehicles. The sound cutting in and out 3-4 times during the first minute and occasionally (rarely) after is most likely due to the phone and/or car "fighting" to decide whether to use USB-C to Aux or Bluetooth. I don't think it has anything to do with the adapter itself. With that said, I don't have any issues with the adapter. The sound quality is perfect. Not only is the quality better than Bluetooth, it will allow you to play uncompressed, lossless audio. With Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, etc., supporting lossless audio at a minimum of 24-bit/44.1kHz FLAC, it's one of the best ways to get what you pay for. It makes a very noticeable difference. It's also great that it has the charging port with it. The magnetic dongles are also a nice addition that helps with cable management. I've used this daily for months and the USB-C connection hasn't had any issues and still fits and holds like when it was new.

Starting to fail and cut out after a year and a half. Still, it lasted far longer than all my other ones that I've tried. Worth it yes, but disappointed that it fails.

I am not sure if I recommend this product but it may work better for you than me! Just based on a few issues I had, it's not a "perfect" product. The build quality is quite nice, but the cable is heavy and stiff so it is only meant for bedside or tabletop use. Not for a phone you carry in pocket. The magnets too easily stick together for you to keep the cables apart, when the cable is being shook. 3.5mm back works fine for audio on my Android but there is a light pop when there is a gap in audio. It's like it pops when it stops outputting audio. Pop is mainly noticeable in videos where there are many actual audio gaps from people speaking with silence in between. Kinda annoying in them :( Audio quality is probably great, but maybe limited by my phone? It sounds slightly "grainy," but my Android phone's own headphone port is like that too. Sounded great on the Windows laptop Windows laptop had a huge issue. It worked nicely but I put the laptop to sleep and resumed it, and either the laptop or this adapter blasted super loud. And I forget if it was just a static noise or the computer volume being at 100%, but either way it was very jarring and hurt my ears. 😂

Just awesome, works with Oneplus 13 and Marshall Major IV. But yes, the charging speed definitely can't be compared to to speed at which my original charger runs the show.

Lo he comprado principalmente porque no sabía qué adaptador comprar, habiendo miles de ellos, leyendo comentarios dí con que este era el mejor de todos. Como viajo mucho por trabajo y al cambiar de teléfono (de Sony a Samsung), caí en que el móvil no tenía jack 3,5 así que, como para volar en avión prefiero tenerlos por cable, me pillé este adaptador tras buscar y, sinceramente, por el precio merece mucho la pena. Puedes cargar el móvil mientras tienes conectados los cascos, y cuando desconectas uno, el móvil rápidamente detecta cuál sigue conectado, y el sonido que envía es bastante bueno, de muy buena calidad. Les doy mi 10 y los recomiendo para quien prefiera usar cable a bluetooth en los viajes largos

Ürün müthiş kaliteli. Dac çipi çok güçlü. Hissedilir bir kalite var. İphone kullanıyorsanız bu ürün veya Belkin rockstar’dan başka seçeneğiniz yok. Hiç bulaşmayın başka bir markaya. İpadi bilemiyorum. İpad uyumluluk açısından biraz daha geniş. Farklı seçenekler olabilir ama iphone için sakın başka bir ürüne bulaşmayın :)
