The best of the XSound Go and the MaxSound Plus, ADDED App support and you then have this speaker
Update: I have been continuing to use my speaker as much as possible being "used-acceptable" but looking and acting like it's actually brand new. I purchased another one because i saw a good deal on one and noticed the same issue with the power button "not shutting the speaker off" too .... and then i finally read the directions ..... there is only one way to say this. The user (... aka ME) is an idiot.... I am used to pressing and sort of holding a speaker's button for a second or so to shut it off and that is what i was doing.FINALLY doing what the instructions say, being a "fast tap" of the power button ..... and the speaker turned off instantly ... doing what i had to on the same device to switch back to the "Used - Acceptable" speaker that I wrote this review about .... and then tried that "fast tap" of the power button when it is on and paired ... that one turned off instantly too. SO ..... my only "issue" now with that first speaker is wondering WHY it was "used-acceptable" (I mean i am BEYOND HAPPY about the way this turned out) ... it looks and acts brands new and came with everything. The one thing that I was attributing to the listed condition .... was MY OWN error and a non-issue.I mean things can always be improved but .... before i was given this a 4.5 out of 5 to a 5 out of 5 ... NOW ... I think i have to give this a 5 out of 5 and i dont give that rating much ... again "something can always be improved even if its a minor thing" sort of thing so i will give a project a 4.5 out of 5-------------------------------------------------------I am not even sure how to open this review as I try to give as many details about the product in pros and cons (without just copying spec details that you can read elsewhere)… I have a feeling this review may be simpler than others I have done but I will still try to say compare products. The TL/DR is that I have one negative (with a HUGE catch) with this speaker and EVERYTHING else is a Pro. I don’t give out 5 out of 5’s, as something can “always be improved” but … this Tribit XSound Plus 2, is at worst 4.5 out of 5, and may actually get a 5 out of 5 from me.Pros: Pretty much everything… I really mean it. Sound Quality, Build Quality, Battery Life.. just everything.-------------------Comparsion to other speakers in my experience.MaxSound Plus: While I am not 100% sure I almost view this “XSound Plus 2” as the “MaxSound Plus 2” ...with that one it was tied with another speaker from Tribit (spoiler while I love some other brands too .. Tribit makes my top 4 favorite speakers) for my #1 favorite, however two things held it back .. lower battery life than expected but … not terrible … AND a bluetooth “hum” or “buzz” at lower volumes that while annoying … sort of blends into the audio a few “volume notches up” ….This XSound Plus 2 DOESN’T have that hum/buzz connected to the same device and the battery life is MUCH better. I can live with the MaxSound Plus’s battery life no problem … but this model IS BETTER and like I said I sort of feel this is the “MaxSound Plus 2”.XSound Go: This GREAT speaker is the one that was tied with the MaxSound Plus as my co-#1 favorites … it has much better battery life in my experirence then the MSP, and it has great sound (MSP plus wise I’d compare this to the “Music Mode” in the MSP’s built in EQ settings on the speaker itself) … that EQ thrio of Music, Bass and Audio Book (which YT reviews I have seen do not do it justice) is why the MSP is tied despite having lower battery life. The XSound GO HAS GREAT SOUND itself, don’t get me wrong. Not counting an ADDITION to even this … The XSound Plus 2 is sort of the best of both the MaxSound Plus AND the XSound Go. Tribit’s done it again and made a GREAT product.----------------------------------The big new thing that was added in addition to improving things that were issues for me (at some level anyway) with the MaxSound Plus, is that this speaker HAS Tribit App support. I have used a few devices with apps including Soundcore (I need to use that one again), Fiil’s and Oontz’s and other than perhaps Soundcore’s .. Tribit has the best app of the bunch. I will not go into boring details but it gives you a lot of control and perhaps the best device’s (not counting say android apps like Wavelet that can be used on any BT device) app of the bunch that I have tried. Yet again .. .Well done Tribit.------------------------------------The Negative:Here is the thing … there is a BIG catch at the end. The issue is that the Power button on my speaker TURNS it on and everything functions like normal; however, the power button does NOT turn the speaker off no matter what I do.My workaround: unpair the XSound Plus 2 from the device (usually an android tv box but that doesn’t matter) … this means it DOES NOT show in that devices’s BT device list any longer. At this point it goes into pairing mode and (I could have the time off here) within 2 to 5 minutes max it shuts off if it cant connect to anything. Not ideal but this method of shutting it off works while only “wasting a little more” battery life.THE CATCH to this negative: I bought this as my first Amazon “Used- Acceptable” condition product. Used Acceptable is sort of like “thift store level find” to me (only with a 30 day return window too) … OTHER than this issue I mentioned, everything seems BRAND NEW. I KNOW from prior experience with Tribit products that this is NOT NORMAL and not typical for someone reading this review.I also HAVE TO mention because of this condition … I bought this from Tribit’s parent company as a seller … AT A MASSIVE price discount. Less then 25% of what I am seeing as the retail price. All of this info (problem that isn’t that bad, everything else being “brand new” level including the condition of the actual speaker, AND the price I paid) …. equals a VERY HAPPY customer, writing this review.---------------------I don’t think I have to say it but of course I TOTALLY recommend not only this speaker but other Tribit products. I have always been happy with their products and WHEN there is an issue, they repeatedly go above and beyond in my view to “make things right” (don’t have issue often, but it happen). To be totally fair … I saw a deal for a “used-very good” (if I remember) XSound Plus 2 come up … again the seller being Tribit’s parent company and … I ordered it two days ago, lol … I have another one of these on the way.

Awesome little speaker! Lo mejor en su clase.
I own the Tribit Max Sound Plus 2. It is a good overall speaker. The X Sound Plus 2, although its the same size and weight, is several levels of improvement above in sound quality. It has strong highs, clear mids, and strong bass that can punch above the speakers size and weight. I travel a lot and the X Sound zplus 2 is awesome! The price is great too. If it gets stolen, while traveling then it's not a huge loss. The quality is better than the name brand competition in my opinion. The speakers shape is more conducive for packing and travel than the competition also. Connection is easy and the innovation is awesome. I can't wait to see what Tribit does in the future.

SMALL PACKAGE, IMPRESSIVE SOUND & PLEASENTLY SURPRISED
I was on a search for a new B.T. speaker for work and I had never heard of the brand Tribit. After reading others review of this model I decided, what the heck. I wanted something with clear & balanced sound, audible bass at any level, simple controls and great battery life. This little thing delivered on all!! It has crisp highs, clear mids & a punchy bass at low levels with decent bass @ higher volumes. I've only had it for one week and the battery still has between 60-70%🔋life, granted that's in an office enviornment at "office level volumes" 😉so I'm sure if it was being played at higher levels the🔋life would be about 10-15% less 🤔. Also, my wife & I are looking for some outdoor speakers, as these are IPX7 waterproof rated, they can be paired with another unit for true stereo speration and they can be controlled thru the Tribit app. I'm gonna get a pair for the back patio. Sorry to all of our neighbors as we'll be rockin N jammin out as soon as the warmer weather hits N.W. Ohio in a couple of months. Give em' a try, I think that you'll be impressed as I was and I'm an audiophile snob (according to my gorgeous, stunningly beautiful wife) when it comes to how my music is played & heard.

Good connection and sound quality
We have the Samsung Frame Tv and the TV is mounted very tight to the wall. The speakers are good but with all the ambient noise in our house I wanted something that could project the dialogue of a tv show without cords hanging down from our TV. We connect the speaker wireless and put it on our mantle below the TV. I like how the app has a setting for hearing voices better. The battery lasts a decent amount of time so we charge it elsewhere and put it back when it is finished charging. This one was the best one I could find that didn't have as bad of a delay in sound when connected over Bluetooth. I found that it works better with certain streaming apps over others.
