Highly recommend! Purchased 14 months ago and find that the lights are bright and durable. Lutek Customer service has gone the extra mile and has provided us exceptional service.

I have been very happy with these LUTEC Solar Lights, once I turned them on correctly. You have to push the button on the bottom to the side not just down. After that I bought a 2nd set of 4. I use them on walk of pavers in the back of the house going to the lower level. They are perfect, bright and come on every day even the cloudy rainy ones, also with a couple inches of snow. It is dark here at 5:15 and I am sure how long they stay on. Once they were on at 4 am, that must of been a bright sunny day. Some days they go off by midnight which is all I want, the deer don't need them.

After several back-and-forth emails with the seller I finally got these lights to work. The lights require being turned on (I) using a switch on the bottom. That switch is hard to see and, the instructions that come with the lights have no instructions that this needs to be done. Once I fumbled through this on/off nonsense, the lights are on our boat dock and work good.

These are the best solar lights that sit on the ground that we have ever had. They are high quality, work very well even during winter months. They stay put in high winds using the ground spikes and the light quality is very nice. Our rear yard backs up to a country road and these solar lights allow for some added curb appeal and security.

These lights are well done, lightweight, easy to install, seems durable. I bought a couple sets to line my driveway and across the front of my lawn. These lights are in the direct sunlight all day long. They only stay lit for about 4 hours at night. This is disappointing to me, because I was hoping they would stay lit until 2 or 3am. Sun goes down about 7pm right now. By 11pm, they were all VERY dimly lit- barely hanging on. Most solar lights should last from 8-12 hours. UPDATE: a few weeks after initial purchase/installation, the lights only last for about 2 hours. I'm VERY disappointed in the solar quality. The construction and presentation is gorgeous and durable and easy to install. The solar light duration is VERY disappointing. I will be installing something else to replace these.

The lights are very bright and have staying power.

They are well built, run all night and they are very bright! I have used them to replace some other more expensive piling lights. The 1st set that arrived had an issue and the seller immediately sent me out a new set. They made sure I was completely satisfied before ceasing contact. These lights are way better than anything you can get at your local big box store. I highly recommend them!

I bought two packs of 4. Not a cheap product, but this quality is worth the price! Sturdy, screws included - it shows that this is designed and built to last. Bright lights all around. Great for the driveway or path. Recommended!

I have very mixed feelings about these lights. First, the positive aspects: They are well built with an aluminum frame that contains a thick clear lens that covers the solar cells and the LEDs. This design ensures that the solar cells and electrical connections are entirely waterproof. The not-so-good aspects: The company is making untruthful claims about their product, and this should be quite irritating for consumers. False claim #1. The company claims the lights will require "6-8 hours to charge and ensures 72 hours of light in full sunlight. The lights can recharge and illuminate even in limited sunlight". This is not true at all During autumn days, these lights received a full 8 hours of light, but only remain on for 4 hours (at most) after dusk. They can't even last 8 hours, never mind the claimed "72 hours". False claim #2: The product ad on Amazon claims that the solar driveway lights "can withstand up to 20tons of pressure. It will not break even if a car or truck run over it." Its ridiculous to claim that these lights could withstand 20 tonnes of pressure. While they might be able to withstand a car driving over them (a car tire would probably crack the lens and the solar panel but it wouldn't crush), claiming they could withstand 20 tonnes is silly. They'd be crushed flat. Verdict: These are probably among the very best driveway lights that you can buy because a) they have a strong aluminum frame; b) the thick clear plastic lens covers the solar panel and ensures the electrical system won't corrode and short out like many outdoor solar products; c) the lights have removable rechargeable batteries! Having replaceable batteries is really important and should be a key consideration in the purchase of ANY outdoor solar lighting product. Why? Because when the rechargeable battery wears out (usually in a couple of years), you can easily replace the battery. Buying products with soldered-in-place batteries is a bad choice- they are much harder to replace unless you know how to solder. In some cases, the solar lights are sealed, making it impossible to replace the battery: a very poor design for consumers who want quality, long lasting, serviceable products. Final note: Though I like the lights and impressed by their build quality and replaceable batteries, they don't stay lit more than a few hours. The company did NOT truthfully represent these lights, thus, I would recommend not purchasing them. If the company fixes their design so they actually last all night, and removes the silly claim about withstanding 20 tons of force, then I will re-rate these as full 5 out of 5. They could be outstanding, but they are not.
