My only complaint with this product unfortunately makes it unusable for me. The handle flexes too easily. This means that I can't actually scrub my back, even though this is technically a back scrubber. At best, I get a nice feathery touch to my back. This may be sufficient to paint already-lathered soap on the back, but it will not rub the soap in or lather up any soap. To get that lathering effect, you would have to grab the brush by the head. The handle is a thin flexible plate of metal covered by silicone.The silicone appears to be of good quality. The brush part is very gentle. The massage part suffers from the fact that the handle is too flexible, so you can only really massage the areas that you can reach by holding the head of the scrubber.No fungus or mold growing on the brush. I keep it in a well-ventilated area and air dry it after use. No allergic skin reactions, either.This is a good brush for a gentle wash. It is not a good brush for a proper scrubbing. If the handle were anything that wouldn't bend like a blade of grass in the wind (maybe use a rod of metal instead of a thin plate) then this brush would be infinitely better.

I really liked the idea. I have used a back brush for years and as expected have to replace it due to deterioration every so often. I thought this item might enable me to lengthen the replacement timeframe. However, upon receiving the item I would say this is definitely not a replacement for a traditional back brush. So if that's what you're going for....no, just no.The item itself seems sturdy however I'm not sure why anyone would want it. The brush side bristles are very soft, so if you are hyper sensitive this may suit your needs but if you're the average person looking for the exfoliation properties that a back brush gives.....no, just no. The nubby side I'm not sure what the purpose of it is other than if you need a back scratcher while you're in the shower.

Like: Sturdiness. Longevity. Handle will give but never break.Dislikes: Handle not as long as I expected. Bristles feel nice but seem too soft. I'm going to try soaping the massager side for cleaning my back. I just received this item so I will give it the benefit of the doubt-- I need time to get used to it since my previous brush had stiffer nylon bristles. At this point, I believe I will keep it.

If you want to use this for cleansing, use bar soap. "Bristles" are too far apart to hold any liquid body wash. The handle is a good length if I could actually scrub my back with this. Maybe I'll cut off the handle & use the other side for a scalp massager? Basically useless except as a very gentle back-scratcher.

Bristles are soft but too far apart unable to hold liquid soap well. It is also rather heavy and the handle is not sturdy, i.e., too bendable. However, the handle is long enough to reach all around the back.

I bought this brush just to reach the center of my back where I can't quite with my bath puff and its perfect. If you want something that SCRUBS your back, this isn't for you. It is perfect for me because the bristles are soft and not harsh in any way. Soap rinses out quickly. My other two brushes started to rust/mold after 6 months. I think this one will be around for a long time. Wish it came in other colors.

Good scrubber! My skin is dry and flaky and this brush gets my skin nice and smooth. My only complaint is that the handle gets hard to hold on to when hands are soapy but I just hold it with a washcloth and that solves the problem. Soft rubbery bristles are better than regular bristles and easier to clean.
