Got a gnat problem? Here’s your answer.
I don’t post many reviews, but this product is so impressive I felt compelled! Plenty of customers have posted videos and pictures, so I won’t be redundant. But trust me: This trap works! I was being driven up the friggin wall by fungus gnats that invaded my basement office. I’ve been running the trap for a few days and it’s caught an amazing amount of those little suckers. Make sure you have some apple cider vinegar, just add that and dish soap to the bait holder. Gnats are drawn to the bait and lights, sucked in by the fans, then get stuck to the super-sticky pad you place in the bottom tray. No odor, no chemicals. It’s relatively inexpensive, easy to assemble, runs quietly, and it works!!!

Works great!
So glad I got this! Doesn't take up much room on the counter and the fan is very quiet. Catches a ton of gnats and also works well as a night light in the kitchen. Do yourself a favor and buy an extra package of the sticky traps to go in it, it fills up quickly. 100% recommend this product!!

It works
This is a nice little bug catcher. Only downfall is this does not come with the plug adapter only cord, and instructions are kind of confusing. But nice part is it works especially with little canister for bait

You get what you pay for, this one is more expensive but it works great!
The unit works so well I purchased a second one.One of my wife's plants died so she got a new plant and re-potted it with a new bag of potting soil.Well all of a sudden we have these pesky fruit flies all over the house. Come to find out this is a common problem with Miracle Grow potting soil. So I bought two cheap blue lights with sticky pads. They were not the most expensive but they were not the cheapest either. Well THEY ARE TERRIBLE. Those other blue lights that you plug into the wall do next to nothing. So I thought I will try one of these Fooxem traps because they say they are fruit fly traps. They are much more expensive but there is a reason for that, they work great.Within 2 hours of installing the first one I had already caught 4 fruit flies when nothing else seemed to work.Right now the first one I purchased has caught about 50 fruit flies, which are small, like gnats. So I bought another one. These units are pretty unique in that they have a little cup with a locking lid that you fill with an attractant. I use Apple Vinegar with a drop of honey. You put this in the top middle under the blue light. Under this cup is a very strong adjustable fan that sucks the gnats down onto the sticky paper in the bottom of the unit. This little sticky pad is easily replaced because it has a small drawer that you pull out in the bottom of the unit. Pull it out, remove the used pad and replace with a new one and close the drawer. It really is true you get what you pay for. These units are more expensive but they have more features including adjustable fan speed to really suck those little buggers into the trap of death. The other brand I bought I might as well thrown them into the street because they are pretty much worthless in terms of catching these little gnats. Save yourself time and money buy one of these first. Dr. Greg
