These are reasonable clocks, I bought 3 - all tell the time well.My daughter hates hers, but I can’t understand what the issue is personally. They look good for only £6.50 so good value for money also.They’re really bright, even on the lowest brightness setting, which is something I don’t like.The display size is great and can be seen in the middle of the night. The clock is really light weight so falls over if knocked, not great as a sturdy base.

The item was smaller than expected but has very good brightness. The clarity of the display colour looks good against the black. Battery life going strong after 2 months.Great it works with the plug / and or batteries.

The clock looks lovely and is easy to operate. However it CONSTANTLY resets meaning that the time is incorrect and the alarms previously set are lost. It has a battery back up, so it's not a power issue, it must be a software/hardware issue. This constant reseting makes the clock pointless.Also the lead to connect to the mains is far too short.In summary, looks gorgeous but just doesn't do what it should do. Avoid frustration by avoiding this product!

Has it never crossed the mind of the manufacturer that people who need a large display will be unable to read the pathetically small instructions?

Very happy with quality and it will look fab as curtains in my new house, but be aware this isn't a true red, difficult to judge it really but it's like a coral/terracotta red. I was expecting this after reading a previous review. I'm more than happy, but if your looking for a post box red then this isn't for you. Excellent value too.

I had hoped to use it as a thermometer, but it shows 3 degrees Celsius higher than three other known-to-be-accurate thermometers in the room, all sat nearby it for a day—no improvement with time, even after waiting well over the 30 minutes advised in the tiny manual to achieve accuracy. Perhaps it is sensing its own heat as I am using it plugged into USB power, but not great in any case. The display itself is nice (I got the coloured one) but the colour gradient on the one I got is left to right only, and not at all diagonal as the main image of it implies. There is also not much red to it (the purple leans towards blue), so again the image seems to be over-enhanced compared to reality. The time seems accurate so far, which is good since I’ll now have to just use it as a spare (but pretty) clock. OK for £7, though, if you just want a nice looking clock and have a spare USB or 5V power supply to keep it lit all the time.
