Snoogg ASP Manicure Saver Cotton Claw

The ASP Manicure Saver Cotton Claw has got to be one of the greatest inventions ever! Okay so maybe I'm going a little overboard but I really love the cotton claw! You have no idea how many manicures of mine it has saved. Before I ever knew this existed it was very difficult to use polish remover for one finger or for stamping without messing up the polish on the hand that was holding it.What this does is very simple. On the top you have a black button, on the bottom you have a little metal claw. Similar to what you'd see in a claw machine, obviously a much smaller version though. With the push of the black button the claw comes out and opens up. This is when you'll pick up a cotton ball with it. You then let go of the black button and the claw closes and retracts, as far as it can anyway now that it's holding the cotton. You can then put your polish remover on the cotton and use where needed without messing up your already finished nails. I specifically use this for stamping, so when I need to clean the polish off my plate I use this cotton claw and I haven't ruined my nails in doing so. I'm sure you could find other uses for this but this is what I've used it for. I was a bit skeptical that this one would be a total piece of crap. It's plastic, has moving parts, and it's not that expensive. I'm glad I took the chance on getting it. This is just perfect for those times when I don't want to mess up my mani but I want to paint my toenails (or when my little one NEEDS her nails done right after I've finished mine). I've had it and used it now for a couple of months and it's held up well. It grips the cotton balls nicely (I find one of the large sized balls works best and I switch to the "clean" side about half way through to get more use out of a single cotton ball). It's also pretty easy to use. Honestly, I do prefer the way it works to just hold the cotton ball in my hands so for those times when doing so is feasible. But when I really just do not want to involve my fingers in the process this is a life saver. And it's not like it makes the process that much more difficult but I do feel like I lose a bit of leverage with this device. Letting the cotton ball sit on the nail a couple of seconds before scrubbing the polish away seems to work more efficiently.

Great little gadget. Works well for me; the claw has a strong grip. No more annoying cotton fibers!If/when it breaks or I decide to get another I will go to the actual Sally's store. I recently found out we had one within decent driving distance AFTER the order went out. No biggie.

Broken upon arrival and literally quality of a plastic tampon applicator. "Disposable waste of $"

Not working as I expected. It doesn't grab onto my cotton w balls or towels like it should. I generally wind up using the cotton balls and towels with my opposite hand.

This little tool is a must have. You put the cotten ball on the end, wet it with polish remover and use it to clean off your stamping plate so you don't ruin what you have done so far. I don't know how I've painted my nails for years without it. You can also use it for any "goofs" you have made so far. Then your nice manicured hand doesn't have to touch a cotton ball soaked in remover. You know the disaster that can cause and you have to start all over. If you have a polish mat it is also great for cleaning that up so you don't ruin your manicure. You go on YouTube and it seems,like everyone that is doing How To videos is using one of these. I'm glad I own one. Will be ordering this again.

This works great and helps to keep your hands clean and protect your mani. I did not even know something like this existed until I watched a YouTube video. Great buy and a must for anyone doing nail art.

I've wanted one of these for ages, and am SO glad I finally have one! It works just as I'd hoped it would--holds a cotton ball securely while removing polish from my stamping plate without dripping acetone over my already-completed nails. (I hate to admit how many times I've done that!)I saw the same item at my local Sally Beauty for a slightly higher price, and since this shipped with free Prime shipping, I actually saved a little money by ordering from this seller!
