All worked as expected, but I was unable to connect my Android Huawei P20 to the TV by HDMI because the software for this had to be pre-installed on the phone and my screen wasn't working this is why I was trying this workaround :D

Yes, we all forget the adaptor from USB Q to the HDMI Alpha plus or whatever it is; bought this as an emergency when i forgot my travel adaptors; it works fine, and the USB A mouse/keyboard dongle fits right in, but the mouse behaves in a very skittish manner at times jumping all over the screens. I had a spare USB C males to USB A female crossover, and that solved that problem plugged direct into one of the 267 USB C sockets on the laptop (okay, one of 3, but oh for something other than USB C).

Does what it says, purchased this to connect my MacBook Air M4 2025 to my monitor. No apps needed to be installed for this to work simply just connect USB C to MacBook and HDMI to monitor and connects straight away.

I used the product for about 2 weeks and it now doesn’t work. Would avoid buying it.
