Was so excited to get this Stainless Steel Dough Hook for KitchenAid 4.5-5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer! My old dough hook had some sort of coating on it that started transferring to my dough, so I knew I needed a new one. Settled in this one, and so far it seems great! Came fast, packaged nicely. Fits the product description and fit perfectly on my 5qt mixer. I’ve already made a batch of bread dough and it worked well and seems like it should hold up great over time. Solid and durable, and super easy to wash off by hand but also dishwasher safe which is convenient. Would recommend if you bake a lot or need a good replacement for your mixer!

We have a well-loved and well-used K45SS KitchenAid mixer. Unfortunately, over time, the white part of the dough hook has worn off -not sure that's too safe. Anyway, we bought this dough hook after looking at a lot of different choices and reviews and we are so happy we were able to find this one! It fits great, gets the job done, and is stainless steel so it is much safer too!

Works well, nice strong knead, ad no worries about paint flaking off. Fits just right.

Value for money. Lighter than the original but gets the job done. Seems durable and easy to clean.

I wanted to avoid any plastic components or paint chipping off of the blade.I also wanted to make sure it is compatible with my stand mixer. I checked everything before placing my order.

I make a lot of dough requiring a dough hook, and this replaces my original KitchenAid dough hook perfectly. Have not had a single issue. It works very well

This doesn’t fit the tilt bowl mixer as it’s not long enough to mix to the bottom of the bowl. Not a product issue but rather a description issue

The mixer seems to have stopped shaking as much as before after using this new hook. Don't know why.
