Pinkie friendly, comfortable!
I have the Sony A9 battery grip, and an L-Bracket for my A9. This Lennon Grip is by far more comfortable than them. The ergonomics are spot on and seamlessly comfortable. I love the way it fits and feels. This is a great alternative to the expensive and massive Sony battery grip. Obviously the Sony battery grip serves a different purpose, but with the awesome battery life in the A9, I never loaded 2 batteries in it anyway. The Sony battery grip was also difficult to fit in an average camera bag without having to remove it every time. This Lennon grip is small enough to fit much better in a bag. Having your pinkie on your grip is a big deal! How it fills the palm of your hand is also great for weight balance and stability. CONS: I just worry about the lifespan of this grip. The rubber part of the grip feels kind of tacky / gummy but in a soft way. It feels like it will wear out faster than the Sony's rubber.

Most functional extension for A7Riii thus-far
I have this mounted on an A7Riii and it provides exactly the same added comfort that other grip extensions provide - which is fantastic. I use some large, heavy lenses and a grip extension really helps with comfort and endurance. What is great about this particular grip is that (A) you can get to the battery door without removing the grip and (B) you can still put another plate on the grip if you need one. I have the Peak Design Dual plate mounted on mine, so I can still use the camera with the PD camera clip as well as my RC-2 tripod and monopod heads - again, no removing the grip to put on the plate. So - net - the grip is full-time mounted to my camera.

Amazing Hand grip extension for Sony A7III
I love the A7III but the grip needed to be just a bit taller to accommodate my pinky. Enter this grip. It adds just enough for the pinky while still allowing the camera to be small and lightweight. The think that attracted me to this vs the Sony version, besides the much better price, is the fold out battery area. You can swap batteries without removing the extension which is hugely convenient. Overall this has held up well so far. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Meh....not that great, tightened down it still spins on the base plate - Sony A9
Received the plate in a timely fashion. Attached it to a Sony A9 and really tightened up the base plate screw. Plate still spins on the camera. I will probably have to buy some sort of sticky-sided rubber to get the plate to grip the base of the camera enough to prevent spinning. Not really happy with the product.

Not ready for pro use.
Built well enough, but it doesn't sit flush with the battery compartment, so not only does it not look right, but I'd be suspicious regarding it holding up terribly well over time. Also, there is nothing in terms of anchors or inserts into the base of the camera to keep the grip from turning one way or another and not being flush with the body. The concept is good and for a first designs, it's not altogether terrible, but given the point of the grip, a bit more precision and a few tweaks are in order. As a full time working photographer, I use the Sony battery grips primarily for ergonomic reasons and was looking forward to having something that provided the extended grip I was looking for with access to the battery compartment, but for now, this is not it.

Very simple grip extension
I'm only using the grip extension half of this, and keeping my Peak Capture RC2 plate in the middle portion. The Lennon is making the A7R3 much more comfortable to hold by giving my pinky somewhere to rest and opening and closing it during battery changes feels very sturdy. Overall a great addition to the camera and a great value!

Convenient Grip for A7II
Improves handling of Sony full-frame cameras by a good margin. My only gripe is that it can rotate a bit since it's just secured in the middle of the camera. I love the convenience of the flip down battery section for the A7II camera we own, but I just wish it didn't have that bit of play.

Perfect grip and even more perfect customer service
I had the older version of this grip attachment which was excellent but had some small issues. When I contacted pergear for parts they didn't hesitate to send me the newer model in record time! The newer model has a more structured main screw on support point, rounded edges in the left side of bracket for comfort, and the hinge design is redone for better longevity overall excellent product and even better customer service!
