As a rule, I like to research any products ahead of buying them.... especially online. I was in the market for a dash cam and after reading so many reviews, my head was spinning! I also wanted to be sure that the reviews were from actual customers (verified purchases) and not written to simply improve product positioning. I found a few that were intriguing but after digging in some more, the quality of the rear cameras tended to be poor at best. Front cams no issue, but rear .... well, that's another story. I should have mentioned that as much as I wanted a front cam, the rear was actually more important to me since it's difficult to see out my back window due to tint and poor visibility. I came across the Pormido D80, read the reviews, watched the customer videos (I don't care about the company marketing), and decided to lean in.I contacted customer service prior to purchase, because I wanted to ensure that this OEM mirror cam would fit my car. At this point, it's important to mention that their customer service team is in China, so I expected a reasonable delay with their response. Well let me tell you that Doris (their customer service exec) responded in record time...each and every time I needed something. Specifically, emails that I sent around 8 PM EST were responded to within a few hours. Not only that, she requested that I take a picture of my existing mount to make sure it would fit. Well, my current rearview mirror is enclosed in a shield up top so I felt uncomfortable pulling it down and my plan was to have this professionally installed. Again, Doris came to the rescue! She researched my vehicle on her own, and found the correct mount. She requested that I buy it, and she would reimburse me upon receipt. Now, to be fair, based on my interaction with her I decided to proceed but I must admit, I was somewhat concerned that I might not get the refund as promised. Well long story short, the refund was applied as soon as the mount was delivered (within 2-days) and the camera was installed.I'm not sure what I'm impressed with most.... the dash cam or the customer service I received from this company. In the end, I’m totally impressed with both, and I would encourage anyone looking for an OEM (vs tie down version over your existing mirror) mount with dash cams front and rear, to hit the purchase button...seriously! It was just installed today, so I can't comment on the longevity of the product, but it works very well & the images are crystal clear (as best you can get in the world of dash cams)! Their customer interaction and process is absolutely fantastic. I totally recommend this company, their product, and most important, the way they conduct business...VERY IMPRESSED!

I purchased this system because i have a camper in the bed of my truck and need to see when backing up.Im sure glad i bought this camera system from this company.Their customer service is probably the best ive ever experieced.They bent over backwards helping me at every step through the installation and thats what prompted me to write this review.The cameras both front and back work flawlessly,and after dialing in the settings its made me feel more comfortable backing up my truck.This is the company you should buy from,if you have any issues they will help you and their cameras work great..

The media could not be loaded. I picked up the Pormido PRD80 mainly because my truck’s camper makes it tough to see out the back, and I needed something that looked neat and integrated. But this camera truly deserves a shout-out.Packaging and Build Quality:The camera arrived well-packaged, and the build quality is solid, better than many other gadgets I’ve encountered. Installation was straightforward for anyone a bit tech-savvy. The manual's print is tiny, but manageable.Performance:The video clarity is good both day and night. The screen brightness is just okay, but it’s exactly what I expected and it does the job well. Adapting to viewing a screen instead of through a mirror took a bit of adjustment, but now it feels natural. The parking mode is a great safety feature. The only hiccup is the GPS, which gets spotty under my camper overhang, but that is more about my vehicle’s configuration than a fault with the product.Customer Service:The customer service has been impressive. They responded quickly to my emails and helped me out when I needed an extra-long rear camera cable by providing a link to order one on Amazon and assuring a refund. Just email them if you need a longer cable, and they will handle it for you.
