Ok in porridge, not great with water
I was intrigued with this item looking at some of the reviews and was expecting it to be like drinking sugar, but I personally didn't have that experience.Looking at the nutritional information, it's 10g of sugar per 100g. That's equal to 2.5 teaspoons of sugar for half of the bag. Bearing in mind they suggest you have 1 tablespoon with 10oz (280ml) of water I don't see that as a huge sugar content personally. I will agree though, that with over half of it being fruit there was probably no need to add Steviol...but having said that perhaps it was to counteract the 40% or so of vegetables, green tea etc, who knows! As a drink with water, I didn't find it enjoyable whatsoever. It felt like on an empty stomach it just sat funny..so I personally won't be doing that again. My partner however decided to add it to oats, milk and 100% cacao for breakfast and she has said that wasn't unpleasant. She said the cacao definitely masked most of it, and just left an after taste of all she could describe as "plant-y." She has also found that she feels fuller for longer adding it to the oats, so is actually quite pleased and willing to use the rest of the pack in this manor. My partner has given this product a better run for testing and she doesn't feel any different really.Would we purchase this again, probably not.I hope this review has been helpful, thanks!

Bottoms Up and It Tastes Better Than It Looks
Yes, there is sweetener added but No, there is no sugar and I have double-checked the ingredients! I personally don’t feel it is sickly sweet at all but similar to when I juice my greens with too much fruit (there is a lot of natural sugar in fruit anyway). The aftertaste is quite fruity/strawberryish which I found rather pleasant and refreshing.I juice because I don’t eat enough greens and I’m also not a big fruit eater either but I struggle with the texture and the grainy/bits. That is why I actually enjoyed this alternative powdered form of “juicing” and it certainly tastes better and goes down easier. This does need stirring in-between because there is still a slight bitty texture because I don’t think the powder dissolves well. I simply measured 1 tablespoon into a glass of water. So, does it need the addition of stevia? Probably not because there is a lot of fruit content already (57.1%) in that itself has its own natural sweetness but stevia doesn’t raise blood sugar levels like sugar and other artificial sweeteners. But all sweeteners have a bad name and steviol glycosides isn’t aspartame. I drink diet coke in moderation anyway as well as take stevia in my one cup of coffee a day, so I don’t have an issue with the sweetener in this. That being said, this isn’t a review of stevia and the addition is minimal, all the other ingredients are natural as well as the included energy herbs I can only benefit from what is lacking in my diet by consuming this.

Okayish
This powder comes in a resealable package, and contains enough for 22 days, so at the price of £18.77, it's almost £1 a day.The instructions are to mix it with water, although you can use it a smoothie. As I rarely have smoothies, I decided to mix it with water as recommended. It doesn't blend well: it's a fine powder, and I mixed it well, but it was still a bit powdery to drink. The taste was okay,I didn't pick up the sweetness that other reviewers are mentioning: anyway I think if it is sweet it comes from the fruit rather than the large dose of Stevia that the reviews are alluding to (it does contain Stevia, but doesn't mention how much, so I'm not sure how they know that the sweetness comes from the sweetener and not the fruit. Maybe there's a way to tell that I don't know about). It's not the sort of nutrient mix that I would expect to see instant results from: and as someone who eats lots of fruit and veggies anyway, the results may be harder to quantify for me than for someone who doesn't consume much fresh fruit and veg every day.Might be worth a try if you do need these nutrients, and you have regular smoothies (but thinking that through, you probably get similar nutrients from the smoothie ingredients don't you?) , and you don't mind paying nearly £1 a day.If you found this review useful, please click on the "helpful" button below. Gave me a boost
A nice pickup to start the day, this arrived in a simple package and once opened can easily be sealed again with the plastic lock seal, the powder is a muddy green colour and mixes to that colour not looking very appetising but of course that is not the intention or purpose of the product and I am pleased to see they have not added any colour just for the sake of aesthetics.I have been taking this daily since it arrived and although somewhat difficult to quantify I do believe it gives me a boost, I mix a teaspoon with the recommended amount of water and just drink it, I am somewhat bemused by other reviewers saying it is overly sweet as I personally do not take sugar or sweetener in any drinks and I found the taste to be neutral and not sweet at all. The taste is not unpleasant so did not feel the need to mix it with anything else, it mixes fairly well with water and has a slight grainy consistency when you drink it so if you think this may be an issue for you I would suggest mixing it with a smoothie or similar.Overall I found it to give a bit of a boost to start the day, I did not find it to be too sweet or even sweet at all, I would have liked to see better usage instructions listed and suggestions for usage but do think it’s a good product.
