Not sure if it is just me but when I received these, I was not perfectly clear on their use. Yes, I knew they could be used alone or with a partner but the actual use of the contents. Only after a bit of searching on the internet I found a video (G rated) that showed you can either work them in your hands and they will release the oil inside, or you can pierce the ball to release the oil inside. Luckily, I didn't try to squeeze them as I likely would have ended up with a mess of oil all over the place which may have had a negative or possibly positive impact on the mood. The different ones we tried created the sensation that is listed on the bottle to varying degrees. These were a nice way to introduce massage into our experience which was a nice addition. I do find these to be nice, but I also find them to be expensive for the little bit of oil you are getting.

As others have mentioned, the cool balls have a very noticeable effect but the hot balls not so much.

I am big on sensations and these immediately caught my eye.After trying them all, I can say I'm not sure the HOT (Warming) ones work at all. I didn't feel anything from them at least whatsoever.The COLD (Cooling) one however, worked quite well! Not overwhelming but very very noticeable and lasting feel. When you wash it off you're in for a bit of a shock in intensity hike though! So be warned.Overall I wouldn't buy these as most of them just didn't work at all or at least not as specified but it was nice to give them a try at least and I really did enjoy the COLD ones.

We really liked using these ball sets here lately. The cold balls work really well and does cool down the areas that you use them on. The heated ones didn't really produce as much heat as some others that I have used in the past. There was some heat but not as much as we normally like when using heated liquids.Overall a nice set to get you into some sensory play with your partner. I will be looking into getting more of the cold ones in the future we really enjoyed them.

These are a bit odd to use and they don't produce a heating or much of a cooling effect. The packaging was interesting as was the idea, but not well executed.

Each of the 4 vials comes with a safety seal that appears to be designed to pull off but in my case i had to get scissors to pry the lids off. Frustrating. I get that these aren't supposed to require a lot of instructions but would be nice if somewhere readable it said to break the outer gel layer to release the inner liquid.I noticed some differences between the four varieties, with cold being the easiest to distinguish (not a big surprise). Overall, these seemed messier and more of a hassle than other options. I wouldn't get these again.
