Dr Teal's Aluminum Free Deodorant, Lavender Vanilla with Essential Oils, 2.65 oz (Pack of 3)

I’ve been on the hunt for a low toxic/non toxic deodorant for the last 4 years. Out of all that time, this is the only one that I keep coming back to because it works.It’s the only one that doesn’t break me out & that keeps me smelling like coconuts for 24+ hours. It’s also cheaper than most in this genre.Pros: Effectiveness on smell for me, doesn’t break me out, relatively non toxic or low tox (I’m not an expert enough to know whether it truly is or not so whatever), price is goodCons: Yes, it’s hard to put on BUT, not if you do it right. You follow the directions on the back.. you press it to your skin for a few seconds, then slowly apply it. This is not a gel or cream, it’s a solid & it contains coconut oil which makes it hard when cold. It’s hard to find in stores sometimes. It will leave white marks on dark clothes, so apply after you put on your outfit.

Just ordered more for my husband and I. I switched to this brand when I really looked at the price of most of the other natural brands. The ingredients of this work well for me (I haven't found that I stink more than usual or anything) and it lasts all day for my husband. I LOVE the smell of the lavender and also the eucalyptus (that one has a more manly scent). I haven't noticed any arm pit stains and so far neither has my husband. We also haven't had any negative skin reactions.

A non-aluminum deodorant that keeps you dry and neutral smelling. Natural deodorants don't always work that well. I often avoid aluminum because it can irritate my underarms, but often natural deodorants just don't perform as well. However this brand works pretty great. The arrowroot powder does keep you drier. And I find the scent keeps me fresh smelling for most of the day. A great option.

I really like this deodorant. It has one quirk, but I'm willing to overlook it. The only thing I find slightly aggravating is that you have to let it warm to your skin just a bit before it will glide smoothly on your skin. Other than that, it is a great deodorant. It is NOT an antiperspirant, so you will still sweat, but you can be confident that you won't stink! The scent is very nice and feminine, but not flowery. It's effective all day on a casual day, a strenuous12 hour shift, and on a day out working in the yard. This deodorant definitely exceeds my expectations daily. Give it a try! There are other great fragrances by this brand that are more neutral or masculine, too.

I have been using this brand of deodorant for years now ever since I decided minimize toxic and unnatural products in my life. I love the scent and use natural ingredients, it keeps me dry and odorless all day long. Being Aluminum free yet staying super effective against unwanted moisture and stickiness.

The scent is a little weird when it’s just apply but having it on throughout the day brings out the vanilla, lavender scent. It is not sticky and gives a dry application.

yuck.. i do not like this at all. well, I do like the lavender scent. But the texture is incredibly dry and it almost hurts to apply to my underarms. I rarely shave so it's not due to razor burn or anything like that. I also experience more underarm odor than I'm used to with my old standby - aluminum free shhh.... it's a ..... ;) I wish I hadn't purchased the 3 pack. I hate to waste anything, but I don't see me using all three of these.

Dr Teal products are the best around. The aluminum free and good quality the effectiveness is astounding. Makes the skin feel clean. Works well with clean armpits from the start. Smooth on the skin . Long lasting. Don’t use if you have a cut because it will burn .
