Expensive but are good

Have bought these before and they are just as good as the Brita's ones but half the price they last as long and do the job just as well.

Took a gamble and tried these filters as Brita filters have been rising in price. We live in a very hard water area and filter all our drinking water including water for hot drinks. Most importantly the filtering properties of these filters are as good as Brita filters and the water tastes as good.The disadvantages of these filters is that they require a number of processes to install (shake, remove air, soak, shake,remove air, install, run a jug full through 3 times), they are more difficult to get the air out of and the flow through the filters is much slower even after you have (at first I went through the process again because I thought the slower filtering was due to trapped air).If you can put up with these disadvantages then the advantages are that they are considerably cheaper (at present) and they maintain their ability to filter effectively for longer. The Brita filters in our house used to last about 2 1/2 weeks before we used to start getting scummy tea but these filters last almost 4 weeks before that happens.All in all a good cheaper alternative if you can put up with the clunky install and slower filtering.

This is my 2nd order They are 1/2 the price of Brita filters and just as good. I live in a hard water area but I never need to descale my kettle
