This pump and filter system is a great deal for small 200 to 300 gallon ponds. Works great in a pre fabricated pond or one with a liner that has smooth edges. Easy to change and clean.

It’s really nice and has plenty of attachments! It’s perfect for any little pond! I use it for my duck pond and have to clean it every day but it’s nice! And the ducks love it!

Built a 2,000 gallon goldfish pond with waterfall feature and decided that I needed to add another filter to the works after adding about 20 goldfish, comets, and shubunkins to the depths. I didn't want to add another unit with another electrical cord, so decided to try this unit. Got it, installed it, and lo and behold it worked, right out of the box. The water fountain feature has been a nice bonus and earned me brownie points from the wife. Because of the depth of the pond, I decided to place a black metal planter stand in the pond to place the filter box on. So the filter box sits about 2 feet below the surface and the fountain feature sits just above the surface of the water. The solar panels power the filter pump impressively when the light hits it, directly and also indirectly, so even on partly sunny and overcast days, we still see some water flowing from the fountain. The only thing that would make this setup better would be solar panels that auto-moved to track the sun's progression across the sky. But not really that big a deal. I am averaging cleaning the filter box filters every 7-8 days, so you will want to consider placing the filter box where you can easily get to it. BTW - save the water from washing out your filters and use them to water your garden plants and flowers. (and trees) They will love you for it!

The media could not be loaded. This filter went together very easy. I adjusted the power of the pump before securing it in the filter box. Added a couple of light bars and installed in my 150 gal Koi pond (stock tank). I highly recommend this pond filter/ fountain.

I bought this to put in my koi pond. I have to clean it out every day. It only runs for about 5 hours before it stops running. Very disappointed as my previous pump would go for weeks a time before I had to clean it. I do like how pretty the waterfall effect is, and how easy it is to take apart to clean. If I was just adding to a pond with no fish, this model may work perfect. Not good for koi pond maintenance. I will have to spend money on a new model.

Every time I plugged the pump in it blew off the fountain. I turned the flow down on the pump and on the stem. DO NOT BUY!!!!TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Junk product

I thought its smaller size would be great for my winter indoor pond set up but it was more than I anticipated with the power this pump has on it! I of course was able to finesse the water flow strength with some rocks and plants and can’t wait to use this as the new water fall pump for the outdoor pond this spring! I’ll add that it helped keep my pond plants super healthy with the water flow in our bog set up.

The media could not be loaded. For my smallish pond this is a much better fountain than the one I previously had (by a national brand). This fountain takes in water in a much better location than my previous one. I’ve not had to pull it out once to de-gunk it. The fountain head does get stopped up but a simple unscrew and wash out fixes it. Very durable and great value.
