Monstrum Ghost G3 3X Micro Magnifier with Flip-to-Side Mount

I dont know if people got a bad one or not but this is so decent im ordering two. Why you ask? It blows my SIG juliet 5x out the water and even my vortex 3x and thats hard for me to swallow because its cheaper. I like it for many reasons. My first is NO push button to flip to the side (SIG you do) which transitioning to no mag to no mag is super quick just pull or push out the way and it stays there. It also has amazing eye relief.. seriously. I can get about 4 inches off this thing and have a clear full sight picture instead of having my eyeball into the glass like my other two, that alone is a worth the buy. The glass is fine, adjustments are easy and the focus works very well. Is it the best out there no, but i actually prefer this one over a few i have and thats why im writing a review. Its super small in size and not alot of weight which everyone likes. For the record i have it behind a Holosun 510C with 1/3 cowitness mount and it works perfect no blur or reticle dysfunction. I recommend.

Great magnifier, very good build at a great price, little heavy but not too complain

Eye relief not the best but its within range of what’s stated in the description. Clear picture. Great value for money. Performs well and as expected. Flips back in place easily. Solid quality and seems like it will last. Use this with a Romeo five red dot as many other reviews say and it works perfectly. Could shot an 8” group at 100 yards the first time ever shooting the gun after it was sighted in which is great for me.

I picked this up to make using my red dot at distance easier. The package arrived, and I was surprised to see there was no cardboard box or foam. The plastic bag had allowed the magnifier to become chipped and scratched.Installation and alignment were simple. Magnification is very nice and the glass is cleaer than I expected at this price point. The latch is sturdy and does not allow any unwanted movement. It does sit slightly higher than my Sparc ar, but after alignment it was not an issue.Eye relief has not been an issue. I had no issues at my original cheek weld location, or when adjusting the stock in when running drills.Overall a positive experience, but the poor package quality and lack of documentation should be noted.Update: I just completed a training course, and it was raining the entire time. Everything was inside of 50 yards, so I didn't need the magnifier. When I arrived home and started cleaning the gun, the magnifier is completely blocked by internal moisture. As long as it drys out this isn't a huge deal, but just keep this in mind if you are looking at this item.

Eye relief minimal

First the glass clarity is very good, mount holds well, see some negative reviews of the eye relief but it is not bad for a magnifier. Put 100 rounds through and roughed it up a bit and it is still centered and working perfectly. Really good value product.

Had a horrible experience with their CS department previously with one of their 3x optics. Never received it back for warranty. Decided to give this product a try as a last shot after reading the reviews. What a waste of time, horrible eye relief. Trying to find the eye box is like finding the lost city of Atlantis.

The eye relief is amazing on this thing. Let me start by saying that I’ve got holosun, vortex, Juliet, and primary arms magnifiers to compare this to. At the price point, this is probably the best one. The others have slightly better glass…maybe. So the reviews stating this thing has terrible eye relief may actually be because the person is used to being a lot closer to the magnifier. All my other more expensive magnifiers require being somewhat close to get a good eye box. This one actually REQUIRES you to be at least 2”-3” away to get a good eye box. I kept having to mount it further away to get a good picture, which I actually prefer, it was just surprising. Its eye box is great, its focal point is just further back than normal. Glad I took the chance on it. I wondered how the 4x version of this had better reviews stating it had “great eye relief”. I figured there’s no way a lower magnification of the same product would have WORSE eye relief. From about 2” - 3.5” the eye box is perfect.
