Terrific book for those who teach English.

Extremely thorough and helpful this book is a must for anyone wanting to teach English to speakers of other languages. It is the "how to" resource for methodology in TESOL. Make this your valuable companion as you set out to teach others in an interesting and well informed way. I constantly referred to this (2nd edition) in a CELTA course last year.

Great book!! It's a keeper!!

If you're an English or EFL teacher, or wanting to be either, then this book is a must have. You will use this in your studies as well as your teaching career. There are so many teaching examples and resources to help you build on your classroom experience. A great book for teachers and students. Think of this book as an investment.

This really does have all you need to start you off with TEFL. It's a lot bigger and heavier than I expected, so check your luggage allowance before buying to take on a gap year project! You won't need another "theory" book though. It includes lesson plans and ideas and a good grammar section. It's also easy to read and use.

Very helpful for my tesol course and in general

I bought this book for doing my CELTA course and it was a great help! I would recommend this as well as any Michael Swan book if ESL or CELTA is your goal

A Fantastic book easy to read with clear subject headings about all aspect of teaching English for foreign learners. A ery good guide especially for new trainee's and new teacher's a good guide for starting your teaching career.
