Q: Where can I request that additional yarn be provided - the kit did not have sufficient yarn to finish the rug?

When I was doing "Giraffes in the Sunset" I ran out of black yarn (the predominant color!) I had to buy 8 additional packages....ordered them from Herschners. I think they were 99 cents each.

Q: Does the kit contain a hook or do you have to buy that separately?

Thank you for your interest the kit does not include the hook. There are many available on Amazon.

My wife says she has the same kit but hasn't started it yet she is working on a rug for Thanksgiving but doesn't know what Thanksgiving she will get it done. Has 37 rows to go yet. She says the Cap Nap is cute and just follow the pattern that is enclosed with the kit and you should be fine. Enjoy latching hooking!!

no, the color pattern is not on the canvas. Instead, one must count and follow the chart provided.
