Garage Fit Wood Plyo Box - 30/24/20, 24/20/16, 24/20/18, 16/14/12-3 in 1 Plyo Box, Essential for Plyometrics Training

The 3 way design sounded great but in the end the landing area for a box jump is to small especially when on the 16” side. It might be more useful for younger children.

I ordered 2 sizes of these boxes for my group training facility and they are even better than expected! Not sure where to begin with all the great features so I'll just list them out:- Wood is durable and well sanded so I'm not worried about splinters.- The edges are also rounded down to protect skin (and shins) if you slip.- Putting them together was a breeze! My husband helped me and all we needed other than what came in the package was a drill and wood glue (optional but using in a commercial facility so we opted for the extra step). Because we used the wood glue, it probably took 20-30 minutes to put each box together. If you dont use the glue, it will go much faster. Detailed instructions and extra screws were included.- We've been using the boxes for a couple of weeks in the gym and they have been battle tested with jumps, step ups, hauling around and whatever else my members have thought of. They are extremely sturdy, yet light weight and easy to carry with the side handle cutouts.When we need more boxes for the gym we will definitely purchase them from Garage Fit! Great company and great product!

This box is decent overall, but the fact that the screws stick out around 1mm or so (even using an electric drill) makes me not as big a fan as I would otherwise be. I don't want to use this box as a plyo box but instead for eccentric 1-leg squats, and so it would be totally fine to use on my (hard) floors at home - but with the screws sticking out to that degree, it doesn't seem like a smart idea.Given that this is a product I bought to work "right out the box", needing to try using a drill to drill holes to better fit in the screws doesn't feel quite right (and I'm not sure whether that would void the return policy).Also, several places where screw holes could have been pre-drilled were not done, so that was another not so awesome bit.

Cons: Box was tore up one side was flapping open. It’s a heavy product and only a single strip of tape was used on each side and there was a hole in one of the corners. Thankfully no damage to the pieces inside. The 18 and 24 inch sides were about a quarter of an inch short(had to knock off a star for that). I have multiple pictures I will load.Pros: It fit really nice together. Pilot holes for every screw. Instructions were simplistic(barely needed them anyway). I missed the heading that said use glue if you don’t plan on taking it apart until half way through so I disassembled and reassembled with glue. I like the middle brace pieces. They fit perfectly snug and can tell it makes it super solid. I like that all edges and corners were slightly rounded.It’s only been one day/one workout but as of now I’m happy with the purchase and would buy this or even the bigger one next time. I bought the 18/20/24 as a safe bet with the confines of my garage ceiling.

I chose the 18/20/24 model. Item arrived well packed and undamaged. Instructions in the box were not very helpful, but that's OK because the company emailed way better instructions a couple days before I received the box. The box was easy to assemble, unbelievably sturdy and the build quality was amazing. I chose to put it together with some Gorilla Wood Glue, but, I doubt it was necessary.I saw a few reviews indicating that the edges were rough. I did not find this to be the case at all. The outer edges of the box had been rounded and were smooth. The edges that you do not see were not all that smooth, but smoothing them would just add cost for no reason at all. When I was preparing my space to assemble the box, I got out my sandpaper, ready to tackle the rough edges. I never used it.

Product packaging was good. Directions weren't great because they didn't match up with the letters painted on the box itself but it was easy enough to figure out. I also used Gorilla glue on the joints like it recommended, only because I had some on hand. Would be nice to have that included with the package for those that didn't have any. The finish was good although some people complained that their finish was rough. I would prefer it a little rough because if it was too smooth I would think that would make it more slippery making jumping a little tricky. I also think I over estimated the box I should have ordered! I ordered the middle size but probably should have started with the smaller size first. I'm sure in time I won't be so intimidated to jump. Stepping up is no problem though. I would recommend this product.

The box arrived quickly. It was easy to assemble and came with its own screwdriver. It’s the perfect size for a home/garage gym. The nonslip surface alleviates concerns when jumping.

BEWARE! DO NOT BUY!! You have to drill the holes yourself on each piece where the screws go. It won't work just using a screwdriver head on a power drill. This is no simple assembly -- which is the whole point of ordering the damn thing instead of building it yourself (it's a box, for crying out loud). It's far more labor intensive than it seems and this product and the instructions (including the weak ass video they recommend finding in their website that is almost impossible to find) is NOT thought through well. The wood splintered while drilling the first screw in and now I don't trust this thing at all. Arter 30 minutes struggling, I no longer trust this company with my safety either.I wish I could return it but all I can do is warn you. LAME.
