Q: does this meet OSHA standards?

99% sure it does. I work for a contractor and we have to have them for our lifts

The lanyard on this particular harness is sewn into the back of the harness. The end that you tie off with has the normal clip. I don't think there is any way to extend this lanyard. Also if you are tall or heavy, this is not the harness for you. My 6'6" employee has a hard time getting in it, as well as my 250lb employee.
