This really cleaned the patio well and removed the black spot. But it is expensive and you need a lot of it.

First image shows condition of patio before application, second two hours after applying Patio black spot remover and finally after pressure washing.This product is expensive, but gives an exceptional finish and minimises time pressure washing.

I used it on man made tiles in my garden that had looked the worst for wear after some 20 years. The area of tiles required two 4 litre containers of the remover, so not a cheap undertaking. Not only did it remove much of the black spot it brought back the colours of the tiles as well. The difference is amazing! I will spray again next year to see if they clean up further given that they were so bad to start with. With such astounding results I would happily recommend.

I have tried a number of products to clean our twenty year old patio paving. Nothing removed black spots as good as this product. But it is expensive . Warning - Don't let the spray get on your clothes

We had tried everything to remove black marks and make our cream patio clean again. Nothing else worked. This made it sparkling clean again so quickly and easily. Wiped it on and the marks literally disappeared in front of our eyes in minutes. We couldn’t believe it! Even parts that we thought were okay look better after using this. Well worth the money!

I was rather sceptical about this product as had tried lots of other methods to remove the black on my patio tiles. It worked amazingly well. Just make sure you wear old clothes it it easy to splash this on you and it removes the colour .

I purchased this very expensive product based on the claims of the manufacturer that it had taken 3 years to perfect, 30 years' experience as a stonemason and work on removing black spot on marble in Iraq when everyone else was using acid: the manufacturer claims it is the only product that really works on bad cases of black spot which is what I had.I followed the instructions to the letter in every respect and made two applications at an overall cost of £3.60 per square metre.Not only did it not work for me at all but it actually made it worse by darkening the black spots and making them stand out even more - I have extensive before and after each application photos and contrasting photos to compare with just jet washing and using just bleach. - I may have been unlucky and perhaps I had the world's worst black spot problem but I would not purchase this expensive product again.I've subsequently tried multiple different treatments: none worked well but Black Spot Remover was by far the worst and certainly not as good as jet washer alone though even that did not produce the quality of result I sought.Hydrochloric acid based cleaners simply burn away the top of your flag stones removing pattern and colour but not necessarily all the black spot - too destructive for me.Also tried wet sandblasting with a Karcher jet washer - can literally remove everything (including the surface of your flagstones - so too destructive for me) and uses a lot of kiln dried sand so can work out expensive.The best thing I have found so far is thick bleach applied with a scrubbing brush - definitely acceptable results but a lot of hard work.

We had seen this recommended as a treatment to bring ageing patios back to life - and it certainly doesn't disappoint. It's not cheap and if have a large patio or drive you must bear this in mind however it is a lot cheaper than replacing them. We used three cans on the patio and honestly it looks brand new. Bought a fourth one to do the drive. Marvellous product.
