These work really good. I am very picky about paint brushes . Especially after the second or third or fourth use, the little hairs start to bend and spread where you can’t make a really fine line with the edges of the brush or the real thin ones don’t curl up at the very tip, they tend to do that when you’ve used them after several uses . So far I have not had that issue and I’ve used them like four or five times like I said, and I really hate when they start to curl at the tip of the brush and the handle has a good grip, the metal isn’t loose where it meets the wood.

This review is based on my purchase as I was not given this set for a review. This paint brush set is great for those just starting out. I rinsed the glue off the ends and did not get any hairs coming out. I did find several that were not crimped to the wood and are somewhat wobbly, but I fixed that by adding some glue where the stem meets the metal, thus the reason for the deduction of one star. The roll up case is handy for transport. I like that there is a mix of brush types. The two flat brushes must have been put in the case before the sealer was dry on the handles as they were stuck to the case and I had to gently pry them loose. This will not interfere with the their performance, but I'll need to make sure the black that is stuck on the handles doesn't get on my hands and onto the paper I'm painting on.
