If you are hesitating......don’t ! Everything about this monumental book (weighing in at 10kgs) is as close to perfection as say...a Cartier timepiece. The thought and care lavished on EVERY aspect - from the enticing cover box to the layout to the text to the utterly gorgeous photographs - is bar setting. Showcases the entire Cartier (museum) Collection of clocks and watches made up until 1997; though there are a few choice items I’ve seen elsewhere that would need to be added to this extensive collection to make it truly complete. The only improvement for me would be to indicate the dimensions of each respective clock. As it is it’s stuff of collectors’ dreams.

No matter about Amazon, the book is exactly what i desidered. Unfortunately, the final part of the delivery was awful: a precious book like the one that I ordered, has been left by the local post office 1 day under a storm because, on saturday, no one has answered at the address; the package was very good, but the beautiful external case was destroyed by the water. And the risk of robbery was very high: however, the book is safe.
