This low profile fan is easy to install. It is surprisingly quiet (virtually no wobble with no adjusting) and it looks really stylish. Convenient 3-way color on the lamp and more than enough fan force for any room ( speed 6 ) will blow you out of the room! I usually use speed 1, which I wish was a little slower.  You can also change the direction of the fan to use for all seasons.Customer service is excellent.  One of the Sofucor fans I purchased previously had a minor issue.  After turning off the light, it continued to glow slightly afterward.  I contacted customer service and they immediately sent me out a kit that solved the issue. You can't go wrong with this fan for the price.

Sofucor's customer service responded to my inquiry and ultimately did everything possible to resolve the issue. They not only updated the product description, but also sent me another fan closer to what I was looking for at no cost, and even refunded a portion of my installation costs for the original defective fan. The new fan is beautiful, works perfectly and although it's too cold now to need it to blow cool air, all tests indicate it'll do the job very well when necessary. Highly recommended company and great product.I purchased this 48-inch fan a few weeks ago to replace the ancient one that was installed by the previous owners of a home I just purchased. Had it installed by an experienced and licensed electrician, which was necessary because the previous fan’s junction box wasn’t attached to a ceiling joist. The positives are that it’s quite attractive, very silent and the fan moves air very well. The negatives are that shortly after every time I turn it on, the light flickers for about 15-20 seconds (as shown in the video). I also received a remote that doesn’t have a dimmer function (see photo), so I’m fairly sure I was sent the wrong remote. To top it off, the user manual I received was for a 52-inch fan, even though I purchased a 48-inch version of the product. Clearly I was sent a used product that wasn’t repackaged correctly and had defects. Contacted Amazon customer service via chat earlier this evening but still have yet to get any response from the seller. Hopefully if they’re reading this they’ll contact me and send a replacement. Even with a replacement, I’ll still be out the $$ spent on the electrician. Definitely not one of my more positive Amazon experiences.

The blades are made of wood as advertised (unlike one I had to return bc the blades were made out of plastic), the blades weigh about 1.5-2 lbs each- not too light or heavy. However, I needed a longer down rod-18"-24" minimum for a bedroom with cathedral ceiling? Lovely otherwise it would have been a 5

Works and looks just as well as an expensive fan. The remote is great and easy to use. The fan has a sleek look which is what I wanted. I like that there are three options for the drop from the ceiling.

A very quiet and efficient fan. It has a modern blade design with a simple remote control that has multiple speed settings. The light also has different levels of brightness with an auto timer. Overall an excellent fan at a good value price. I purchased the 48in in White and Gold, it is also available in multiple sizes and different colors combinations. I would purchase again.

Before you unpack anything, check the remote to make sure it's the updated version. (See photo. The one on the right is the correct one. ) Also, the instructions are poorly illustrated. It is very difficult to follow the sequence of installation. Not for a beginner. Even though Amazon sent replacement kits, I would consider another brand.

Fan has several options and a modern look. Would prefer light ambiance setting could be set to to turn on same each time. Excellent customer service answering questions. .
