Q: Is this durable to punch needling if it’s durable to embroidery?

I really have no knowledge about punch needling, but I am sure you could embroider

Q: Can these be sublimated on?

I don't know but they are 100 % cotton linen (I like them plain) and have no polyester in them. Before purchasing, try on some other 100% cotton sample first. But also know that the weave is not super close together on these napkins so even if your process worked, I'm not sure how it would look.

Q: Are they supposed to be air dried or can they be put in the dryer (after washing)?

I wouldn't recommend it because they will be a little wrinkly after putting them in the dryer. I usually take them out of the washing machine und go straight to the ironing. This dries them off completely and you'll have nice even napkins!

Q: Are these thick enough for embroidery?

Yes, we embroidered hundreds of them and hand painted on a lot of them too. It was a lighter embroidery because of the elegance of the fine linen, but the embroidery did work. They were beautiful!
